[quote author=Mankind2024 post=137789916]Why Captain Ibrahim Traoré Is Playing with Fire by Detaining Nigerian Soldiers Many people underestimate the capabilities of the Nigerian military and what it could mean for the government of Burkina Faso under Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Don't be misled by Nigeria's ongoing internal security challenges—fighting Fulani herdsmen clashes, kidnappers, bandits, and jihadist insurgents in the North, or separatist agitation in the East involving IPOB and unknown gunmen. These are asymmetric insurgencies, complicated by local sympathies and complex socio-political dynamics that make total eradication difficult without massive collateral impact. No advanced military in the world easily wins such protracted internal wars. In stark contrast, a direct confrontation with Burkina Faso would be conventional (symmetric) warfare. The Nigerian Armed Forces—Africa's largest by personnel, with superior airpower, logistics, and combat experience—have the overwhelming potential to overrun Burkina Faso's smaller military and, if provoked far enough, enforce regime change in Ouagadougou. Dismiss any notion that Russia's support for Traoré would deter this. Nigeria could establish theater commands in neighboring countries like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and Togo for a multi-front operation, leveraging regional alliances and superior resources. This detention risks escalating a diplomatic incident into something far more dangerous. Traoré's supporters—often vocal online pan-Africanists and certain political factions—may cheer the bravado now, but they would have plenty to lament if things spiral out of control. There's a fundamental flaw in this thinking.... FIRST OFF, you fight Invade bourkina faso, you take on the whole ALLIANCE OF SAHEL STATES...and by God those boyz have been fighting all their lives, you don't want to mess with them. Throw in the Russians, you have a potent witches pot on the boil!!. Think it through before you get demystified, decimated and be seen collapsing your CORN3 by yourself. Don't take me SERIOUS at your peril. Me?, it will only speed up my heart's desire. |

I don't see why DUBIOUS primary elections that proves NOTHING about the votability of the individuals means the world to you!!.. or have you boobbytrapped it by compromising those delegates?. Well, I've got news for you, the Party's affairs are not justiciable , meaning OBI don jump una bombs pass. TINUBU should use his incumbency and come to the FIELD 😂😜 |

[quote author=ImIfeyinwaWj post=137767354]The hypocrisy in this editorial is mind-blowing. The writer is so consumed by envy that he cant see the bigger picture. SYCOPHANCY!!, is that you?!!.😳 |
[quote author=epainos post=137778898]Though I am not a fan of Peter Obi, I admire his stance. Yes, I call him Obi Pandora because anyone who is a public servant and invests in Padora or similar companies while holding public office is a thief. Argue with me on this, and you will receive no response. However, his decision not to work with Atiku now is the best strategy. Obi should go get a Labor or any other party ticket to fly again, and let Atiku kill everyone else in ADC with his money. If Obi competes in the same primary as Atiku, he will lose. The only person who can beat Atiku and has done so more than twice is Bola Tinubu, because Atiku's dollars are nothing compared to Tinubu's. According to Atiku, the only person who can surpass him is Tinubu, who has supported both Atiku and Ribadu. They understand his capabilities. Rather than wait for a new election and remain in France, Tinubu continued to pay. And he has been doing this since the days of NADECO. Ask Dele Momodu, who kept things interesting for them in the UK when they fled from Abacha. Lol. Dele Momodu stated that they always met at his home, and he would settle the majority of the bills. Even support some of them. It's why Dele calls him "egbon" till today. Tinubu invests in people. He may be dubious about his investment strategy, but it is not obvious that he purchased them like Atiku. Atiku makes it clear that he is buying you. This is the difference, and it is why people remain loyal to him. However, if someone cuts you off, thoroughly investigate the person. That fellow may have seen the "real light" or been greedy. People like Aregbesola got greedy. No one can tell me otherwise. But I have my reservation about Osinbajo. Why? He may have seen the light and decided to compete against him, but it was clear that God had not instructed him to. So, when he lost, he walked away from the situation and did not criticize Tinubu in any way. But look at Aregbesola. That's the difference. Perhaps if Osinbajo had listened to God more carefully, he would not have contested. And now he would be the one to enter Aso Rock and tell Tinubu the truth. But how can Osinbajo claim he wants to tell him the truth when he knows what he did? So, back to Obi. Obi needs to just keep being popular. And boom....he should nor contest of I were him. Let him move into Bola Tinubu's mode. Boom. He would nominate Atiku for Vice President and then strike a deal with Osinbajo, similar to Tinubu's. It is better for that person to betray Obi later than for Obi to become Atiku's Vice President or for him to run again and lose badly. He won't get Abuja and Lagos next time. Never will he get the two cities again. And the whole of the northern land still dey deceive him. Let him not show Nigerians how weak he is, but instead pull his weight with the north, align more with them, and persuade Atiku to support him after his tenure. Obi has more years ahead of him. All he needs to do is go the Tinubu path again. Invest heavily in a good doctor abroad. That's it. Get a home there and visit it frequently to plan how to live a long life, and most importantly, he must be prayerful. If he goes this route...forgot it...Obi will become the president of Nigeria after Atiku's 4 years. Atiku is desperate now, so, let him sign 4 years. Atiku will do everything to do it. After 4 years, he will turn to Obi to change it. At that point, Obi must rely on Atiku's supporters to keep their promise. Let there be an Imam and many powerful people from the north and south, along with videos. If Obi gives him another four years, he will take something significant from him again. That's how to go about it. Obi get so many chieftaincy titles in the north. Get access to surplus cash to throw around. Above all....invest heavily in predictive analytics to made better decisions. If he can not find experts, he might want to quickly connect with Fashola, who knows the game very well. Fashola sef no sabi anything there, but he knows how to get some good guys. That is if Fashola won't betray him. Lol. So. Let Obi do his homework very well. I thank God for revealing to me the potential of predictive analytics. That thing is simply too powerful. There is no need for intuition again. I swear it is like entering the spiritual realm and foretelling the future. Too powerful. I saw you a mile away campaigning for an Atiku presidency and that OBI shouldn't run!!!😜. You and I know EXACTLY what the numbers say!!😏. Turns out you are gaslighting the winner of 2023 election (that you obliquely acknowledged), but it's not SPIRITUAL REALM ANYTHING but fear of OBI that sent you becoming a 'technical adviser " to OBI 😂😜 |

[quote author=MEGAWATCH post=137764528]It's mind blowing how Muslims leaders became nice overnight in Nigeria, even mumric people has been very silent these days. We are still observing them though. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Especially that MUMURIC PROFESSOR and that taciturn SULTAN. |
[quote author=Eriokanmi post=137764526]The first time since becoming sultan, this man would be making sense. He's always been keeping quiet on a thing like this. Hope he wasn't forced to say this though. If you Believe everything they've been doing doesn't receive his endorsement, then also believe that my son is Mohammed. 😏 |
[quote author=Omoawoke post=137756083]Of course he was assassinated because Boko haram is in Nigeria government! When GEJ cried out, y'all called him AND A SISSY !!😰😱 |
[quote author=Ttalk post=137754694]And some southern follow follow are saying that US should not intervene that they are coming to steal our resources. Now they can see the high level compromise within the security and political circle that suggest Nigeria can never win the war against terrorist on their own strength. While I had been so sure of high level of complicity, I'll completely gobsmacked at how much the terrorists had taken over the government. 🙆♀️😰😱 |
[quote author=IbomFinest post=137753227]Does the state house of Assembly have any constitutional rights to suspend a duly elected Local government chairman? What then is the function of the local government councilors? No they don't!!!. They have to find 2/3 majority of her councillors who will go through the process as it obtains while impeaching a governor. So she can go to court and be reinstated if she wants. |
[quote author=Hedonisco post=137754660]I'm not sure why he needs to know the senators names. How does that affect his ability to do the job? I've been struggling to wrap my head around the RELEVANCE of knowing your senators' names as it relates to the job description of an ambassador of Nigeria 😏 |
[quote author=AqualinaXYZ post=137754943][b]What does his dancing have to do with governance Tinubu wey no dey dance where has his seriousness taken us to?. [quote author=ebukal67x post=137743284]Adeleke was singing and dancing, even celebrating. Whats wrong with Mrs Tinubu asking him to tone it down? EXACTLY how did she ASK?. JUST ASKING 🤪😜 |
[quote author=InvertedHammer post=137750743]/ It is a sign of weakness for President to emphasize on his orders for it to be obeyed. Imagine Police personnel carrying on with total disregard for the orders of a so-called Commander-in-Chief. This level of insubordination is a sign that the subjects have. no respect for the President. He is a PAPER TIGER whose orders are selectively obeyed 🤪😜 |
[quote author=YesDaddyTill203 post=137750740]Which one, the PDFILE? Sleepy Don the felon with 34 convictions. [quote author=Kennitrust post=137752211]But it make no sense withdrawing police from law makes na Although I wish they also have a feelers from the insecurity Nigerian are going through. Make up your mind if he should or not!! |
[quote author=jaxxy post=137739026]instead of them to declare state of emergency on the abuse of democracy in Africa by corrupt politicians, civilian dictators and enemies of democracy. Solidify democratic practices, free and fair elections and ensure good governance, transparency and accountability by political holders. Once again, I completely concur!!!. |
[quote author=iwaeda post=137738914][b]There is no need for emergency, all these leaders should purge themselves. Most of them want to perpetuate themselves in power till death. Benin just change from 5 to 7 years. Alhassan Quatara is doing 4th term rather than 2. Most of the assemblies are puppets and rubber stamps. People are getting tired. There will be more coups, unless good governance. I completely endorse this opinion |
[quote author=Image123 post=137737713]Hope this is not considered Christian genocide later. The way statistics and influencers move ehn, you go fear. STFU!!! You have no sense and you won't ZIP IT?. [quote author=omooba969 post=137738003]One of our SE billionaires. Though I am not an advocate for this guy whose involvement hasn't even yet been established, but your cynicism is showing and makes one query your intentions and why you insinuate by that scatting remark. You are the same person who complains about the BILLIONAIRES who are all over Alaba, idumota, trade fair etc and buying up YOUR LAGOS. No good will ever locate this guy in this lifetime AGAIN!!. |
[quote author=Orlandoo post=137713636]Atiku is the biggest loser as a Nigerian politician since 2015. Not even GEJ. Man was in the best position as a northern PDP stalwart to take over from GEJ in 2019, yet he allowed Buhari and Tinubu to deceive him in 2015, joining them at the APC. Yet after using him to achieve their aim, they frustrated him out of the APC. Thereby paving the way for Tinubu to take over from Buhari. Atiku is not articulate at all. Just throwing looted money around. He should quit deluding himself thinking he will be president one day. His time has passed. I endorse this comment!!!. |
Good!! Let the coups go on since ECOWAS AND A.U are so complacent in calling their despotic presidents to order and not hijacking their LEGISLATURE and JUDICIARY and disobeying the rule of law. Who is next?. Congratulations to the liberators!!!💪 |
