Now this story is very true as true can be. It happened to my neighbor (Names withheld).

It seems to be the new trick in robbing people. Probably it's the trick used in kidnapping people, then the next thing you'll read on nairaland is so so and so missing, let's help find him/her.

Please read to get informed so you don't fall victim.

So my neighbor boarded a bus going home after work. While in the bus he sat next to the window. The man sitting next to him called pure water seller to give him one satchet of pure water which he collected and gave the seller N20 hoping to collect N10 change. (Now remember that the transaction was happening right before his eyes since he was sitting by the window)

Now, the pure water seller started pursuing the bus since the driver was moving fast. So instead of the N10 change he gave another satchet of pure water which my neighbor collected and tried giving the man who bought the water.

The man said he doesn't need it that my neighbor can drink it if he wants.

According to my neighbor, he was thirsty at that time hence he decided to drink the water.

When he took the first gulp he noticed it was bitter. He then complained to the guy who bought the water and was "already drinking " his own. The man now threw his remaining water away and my neighbor threw his too.

That was all he could remember.

It was when they got to his bus stop that luckily for him they threw his almost lifeless body on the road and drove off.

When people saw how they threw someone out of a bus, they rushed to see who it was that was when people recognized him and took him home.

He was in coma for almost 72 hrs.

They took took his laptop, phones, bag and money since he withdrew money while going back home.

Thank God they didn't drop him on water as he would have drowned or that they weren't ritualists.

My question now is, was the pure water seller part of the deal?

Guys be careful as people are now coming with new tricks to steal.

Share any new method they use so others can learn.

The trick is not new, the pure water seller , the driver and the "passengers"
are all in it together.
