It's one year. 16th September 2023 to 13th September 2024
Is this the duration of your course or visa?
If your length of study is 12 months, then your visa will be 16 months. As such, u will pay IHS fee of a year and half.

Good day great minds. Please I want to ask if I can use my approved Prodigy Finance loan letter as proof of funds when applying for UK student visa. Is using a loan a red flag or it also works fine ?

Thank you, as I await response please

The signatures are adding up. Let's make this a reality

So, I created a petition that seeks to end the rip-off IELTS keeps perpetrating with the 2-year validity of their test results, particularly for high scorers who scored btw Band 8-9. Surely, someone who got a band 9 shouldn't, wouldn't, couldn't have lost the skill that earned him/her a band 9 after two years.

Pls join the petition and let's make this change happen. Share across all platforms, as millions stand to benefit.

Lifetime validity of test results!

Hello, Good day. Please, I have an enquiry. Please what is the current price for IHS? Because, on the site I saw that as a student, I would pay 776 gbp or so. At the point of payment I saw 1035 gbp which came out as 1518 dollars.

I will be grateful for any information I can get.

Thank you,

Kind regards,

the later is the fee you are going to pay.
IHS fee was reviewed and it became effective February.

$1518 for your 9 months program.

When we say stop coming to the UK for now, save ur self the stress. It's better using that money to open a business, expand ur business or look for anykind visa n not student visa , other cheaper countries to go.
Here is the result.

Right now Some are still in one place saying I will try
my own case is different,
grace differs
If u no succeed, come back let others replace u

To obtain a UK Student Visa, demonstrating your English language proficiency is a critical requirement, and this is where IELTS eligibility comes into play. To be eligible for a UK Student Visa, you generally need to achieve a specific IELTS score, which varies depending on the course and institution you are applying to. Ensuring you meet the IELTS eligibility criteria is essential for your visa application, as it proves you have the necessary language skills to succeed in your studies in the UK. Make sure to check the specific IELTS score requirements set by your chosen university or college and prepare accordingly to fulfill this crucial aspect of your visa application.

Tell them to change their ways.
If you don’t have the money to be a bona fide student, then go to Qatar and other countries to hustle.

Tell them to stop cheating a system and look they should learn to blame the man in the mirror and change their ways.

A student visa is for students and a work visa is there.

Yes, everyone has a different story as I know people who did good courses and went to top schools in the UK and are doing pretty well in the UK with job placement from the companies they did placement with.

Since the UK need UK work experience then it's better for one to go for courses that offer such placement after the 1-year program don't you think?!

Larger percentage of Nigeriand coming via student visa just want to Japa not neccessary school.
They intend to pay some percentage of school fees while work to pay. And also get sponsorship after school.
While all this was possible initially, right now everywhere is filled up as the government is known to sell immigration via various visa schemes. Getting sponsorship now is 99% impossible. With new visa schemes, bank HSBC and other companies had to withdraw employment given to new recruits thls week.

Coming without dependant is 100% impossible to foot your bills being a student now let alone paying school school fees.

Stop selling ur properties please please cry

So our people should know this, stop wasting money. We know Nigeria is hard but let's strategies elsewhere or put the money into businesses, farming etc than do the impossible

To be honest if you can't make it in the UK and try to break into a career where else can you make it again in this world? I am extremely curious. You don't even have a language barrier.

To be honest, these people didn't plan. Even when things were good, I doubt you could pay your fees on your own working on a student job without a dependent without breaking some rules.

It can't be less than 6 months.

Anyone going studying a program less than 6 months doesn’t need to apply for a student visa.

Is there anyone currently schooling at derby university or has admission is currently processing it.
Please let's connect. You can send me an email so we can connect.

Also, how much is the maintenance amount you need to have in your account for Visa application after making the deposit of £8000 as tuition deposit.

Another question is concerning the discount on their website I saw as the unconditional offer I got only stated the 14900 which the full tuition.

Who know if the 2k discount is still applicable for September resumption.

Please someone that has answer to any of my questions should help out.

Thank you.

Have you gotten your CAS?
Most schools usually effect this scholarship on the CAS.

You should also know and understand that not everyone is going to the UK to work so that they can pay their Tuition balance.

Some already have the full tuition and upkeep.
This your take only applies to those that don't have atleast their full tuition fees.

How is the pre CAS interview like? Thanks

Please is no one an alumni or a student of staffs university here? Or a Stoke-on-Trent resident here?

Just want to know if it's a good school and city.

His point is that government policies have changed. It has made sponsorship harder and more costly. Sponsorship means that companies will spend heavy hard currency on you paying health insurance for five years, visa fee, lawyer fee and govt levy, that's around 12,000£. The only exception is care where health insurance is free but it will cost them around 7000£ to sponsor you.

As a student, on student visa, the way forward is try get PSW (thank God they didn't remove it), find a good reputable company to work in and use the two years period to prove your worth. If they sponsor, fine. If they don't, find other EU countries or other countries that sponsor based on the work experience or use PhD route run grin

It's not about the tuition itself. It's about what is required of you to successfully finish one. If one isn't ready to study, then a PhD is a very huge mistake.

From the link you posted, so the salary threshold for sponsorship is 38,700£ and 30,000 for under 26yrs?
