Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, revealed that his once-close friendship with former Governor Peter Odili has soured.

Wike disclosed during interviews with select TV channels that their relationship has encountered political disagreements, leading to a strained rapport.

Wike expressed that their political dissimilarities have led to a breakdown in their collaboration. Despite not delving into the specifics of the discord, Wike affirmed the existing divide between them.

However, Wike refrained from elaborating on the exact catalyst for the rift in their relationship.

In a separate interview aired on the Nigerian Television Authority recently, Chibuike Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation and Wike's predecessor, declared his steadfast commitment to maintain a respectful stance towards Peter Odili, regardless of any circumstances.

COMRADES, wike is a nonsense man, him and Odili are in good terms. But if this report is true then it has proven that wike is a serial betrayer
If you think I am wrong, please ask Peter Obi what happened during 2023 election in Rivers State
