On Tuesday morning, Dana Air flight 5N BKI skidded off the runway during landing at Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport. The airline promptly confirmed the incident in a statement, expressing regret and clarifying that the flight from Abuja encountered the mishap while landing.

Thankfully, all 83 passengers and crew safely disembarked without injuries, prompting gratitude from the airline. dana Air immediately notified the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and reassured the public of its safety commitment.

Honestly I never liked the structure of their Planes. The engine is at the tail of the Plane. It’s an old design. They should invest in new aircrafts.
