I think most Rivers politician loyal to Wike are just a clique who believe Fubara is a betrayal of national repute. Fubara is treacherous, the fallout is just too sudden.

Wike naturally will not be able to offer those politician what Fubara will offer them considering the money chest that a Rivers governor have access to. But they still choose to align with Wike because loyalty is key and conscience won’t even make them just denounce Wike at this early stage.

Politicians generally don’t have conscience, but there are levels that even the worst politician will question his action. To be fair to Fubara, he also exercised some restraint at the early stage but treachery is still treachery either ways.

I like what Tinubu is doing, he is playing neutrality. So Wike team and Fubara team can fight to stupor and one eventually win over the other for sanity to resume.

The only thing that makes Wike powerful now is because of Tinubu whom he rigged for and was compensated as a minister. Of Wike is removed as minister, he no longer have powers.

Rivers state Governor office is the amongst the most powerful office in Nigeria. Odili was the man of the moment when he was governor same as Amaechi....Wike used 105% of the power that comes with the office. Same reason wike had to pick someone he feels is weak cos he knows the power that comes with the office.
Without wike's ministerial appointment..All those his loyalist by now will be looking for Fubara's number.

Bros Wike is a good man. Wike doesn't disappoint in any agreement reached with him. Wike is a grassroot politician. Anyone around him gets something from him. He rewards loyalty.
His weakness is quick to anger. He has a reputation for irascibility But very easy to pacify despite his obvious weakness. Overall Wike is a good man compared to other politicians.
Why did he pick Sim?
He believed of all those he worked with Sim tolerated him the most. He believed Sim understood him the most.
Sim to him was the easy to reach and down to earth personality among them. In this case just as the third world countries produce UN secretary general let the humblest of them be made the governor. Secondly Sim has lost of the secrets of the administration.
But there a thing he overlooked. Most of the documents used to fight Amaechi were provided by Sim having also served in Amaechi's administration not too sure on which capacity. How Wike believed that Sim would not go against him as well is a study for another novelty field.
