Victor Boniface flies his grassroots coach, Coach Perez, to Germany to celebrate their Bundesliga championship win together! 🎉🇩🇪🇳🇬 Nigerian striker Victor Boniface scored 14 goals in the 2023/24 season as Bayer Leverkusen wrapped up their historic unbeaten run with a 2-1 win over Augsburg and became the first Bundesliga team to finish a league season unbeaten. The 23-year-old was named Bundesliga Rookie of The Season and finished his first top-flight campaign in Germany as the eighth-highest goal scorer. Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title for the first time in the 2023-24 season. They were crowned champions after defeating Werder Bremen 5-0 on April 14, 2024, and finished the season unbeaten. This is Bayer Leverkusen's first top-flight honor in 120 years. They are also the first team to win the Bundesliga unbeaten.
