WE COULD HAVE BEEN IN HEAVEN WITH HIM, BUT ONLY HIM KNOWS Why HE CREATED US.

olajimi07:

what is our main purpose of being created by the almighty GOD

God created us out of love. The purpose for our existence is to develop into a child of God. A child of God is one who knows and lives according to the will of God. Such a man has no other desire than to swing absolutely in the will of God. Such a service then gives the obedient man radiant joy and supreme happiness. Therefore we are in the creation of our Creator to find supreme happiness, radiant joy and inner peace. The road to that lies solely in recognisisng and living according to the will of God. Until we recognise the will of God, the Almighty creator, we will be restless and devoid of supreme happiness and radiant joy. Deeply implanted in every soul is the quest for the recognition of God. Until this recognition is accomplished, such a man will remain restless and subject to the emphemeral fluctions of his eviroment. Today he is happy, tomorrow sad, next tomorrow sad again, etc. A human being who lives according to the will of God is never restless, perturbed, or doubts the omnipotence of God irrespective of his or her earthly circumstances. Therefore in health or sickness, in peace or war, in wealth or poverty, such a man bears inner peace for in his personal walk with the laws of God, he has come to the recognition that every experience is a blessing. Until we find this supreme happiness, this heavenly happiness which manifests in inner contentment,  jubilant acceptance and celebration of what life throws at us or our circumstances, we will remain restless, indulge in questioning Gods existence, doubt the promises of God, distraust our fellow human beings, hate those whose religious convictions are different from ours, mock at love, trample on justice, violate purity,  loose faith when our prayers seem unaswered, engage in unbriddled intellectualism, practice sordid sensuality etc. Therefore we should endeavour to become a child of God and the world will be different from what it is today.

When we will be honest with ourselves, no one knows that GOD exists, that is the honest answer.

I mean really honestly who knows if God exists, who can honestly say he knows how reality and life started? do we have proof beyond doubt that there is life after death?

But wait religion says it does, great that is supposed to make us feel better only we ask what method was used to arrive at this answer, if you said faith you are right absolutely.

On the other hand we have modern science that doesn't have all the answers also, I mean how does one carry out the experiment of a life after death short of killing yourself, even that way you do us no good because we do not know what will happen when you go. Most often on this forum we find christian and muslim apologist going back and forth and then someone pops up and says why pit faith against science (reason or rationalism) , they have just no basis or no point which they meet!

Great answer true in some circumstances but not entirely so, I have pointed out one before which is when religion ventures into physical issues then it should go through the strict and rigorous scrutinizing. Another is truth and honesty, is what religion giving us the truth and are religious people brutally honest with themselves? same goes for any other person but these are questions that bother on our existence to cut anyone some slack has magnanimous effects as if felt all around the world today. So in truth and honesty,

Does God Exist?
Honest answer-- WE DONT KNOW

Is there life after death?
Honest answer -- WE DONT KNOW

Personally I think religious people apply double standard, when it comes to issues of reality they usually jump first to the answer that science has given then apply religion on the side. Why do I say this you say, take falling ill for example, if someone near you was fainting we call 911 and get the person help and then we start praying for the person.

This is not an attack on religion if you look closely I stand for the same thing which you stand for which is
Truth
Honesty

I never heard a preacher said he never really knows about this question they speak with certainty and mislead people. They play all the possible wildcards you can find least of which is the Mystery card. Personally I think a mystery is like a puzzle that the pieces are yet to be put together and stimulates the human mind to think, it does not stifle questions it promotes thinking and curiosity. CON - FUSION on the other hand is like a puzzle whose pieces has been forced together and looks like a poor artwork, it jams the mind , it closes the mind with duct tape, and that is what is shoved down our throats by most religious apologists.

Hopefully we would be able to start being honest with ourselves.
