Deltamani and BascoVanVeli

If you guys are close to the team, the goal should be getting Chidi Harmony and Peace Effiong a high school or college team in the US depending on what level they are right now. We sadly do not have a developmental path the last couple of years. The vast majority of the last u17 team didn't make the u20 team. I believe going the college route seems the most probable for success.

Haven't been quite excited about a flamingo team in a while like I have with these ones.

With 9 goals scored so far, Nigeria's Harmony Chidi takes over the top scorer spot of 2024 African U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament.

Scored a brace in the first leg of second round
Scored a hat-trick in the second leg of second round
Score a goal in the first leg of third round
Score a hat-trick in the second leg of third round

A goal poacher on the rise!

FT: Kenya 3-0 Ethiopia

••• Captain Elizabeth Ochaka headed home the opener; Velma Awuor and Lorna Faith then unleashed long-range goals apiece to send Kenya to the final round.

••• Ethiopia beat South Africa 3-0 on aggregate in the previous round; they've been eliminated by the same scoreline. Futibo, huh.

••• Kenya will meet Burundi in the final round where the winner will qualify for their first-ever Fifa World Cup Competition (at any level). #U17WWCQ

HIGHLIGHTS: SASSUOLO WOMEN (2) - (3) JUVENTUS
WOMEN I SERIE A

Onyi Echegini in Action for 90minutes with a Goal and Assist, enjoying the Attacking Midfield Duties..

JOE ECHEGINI’S POST-MATCH COMMENTS

“It was a good game, it was nice for some of the girls who haven’t played as much this season to get some minutes. We always want to learn and to get better so there’s a lot to take into next season but we’re happy with the result.
“Next season I want more [than 10 goals]. Next season I’ll have a whole season here and my goal for every season is to score at least 10, but next season I want at least 15. But it doesn’t really matter, I’m happy to help the team however I can.
“I feel good here. Going from college to professional football is definitely different and it’s challenging. For me it’s been a learning period so I haven’t been too hard on myself, I’ve gone in to training wanting to get better. I’m still learning and growing into this game so I’m happy, but I always want more from myself so I’m not completely satisfied but it’s a nice way to end the season today.”

This girl is bomb, in her first season as a Pro Baller. This girl really need to be talked about more like her PR team is very very weak, she needs more publicity, Going to Italy when the league is already past half gone and still putting in this number goals is something to be amazed about.

Randy need to play her more in that no.10 position as she might do better than Toni Payne who have also done well in that position than on the wing for the SuperFalcons. Let the No.10 spot just be a battle between Toni and Onyi, whosoever delivers should be the starter.

Also note that her first 5 games or thereabout were from the bench usually less than 20 minutes of play.

Coach Randy will have a lot of problems on who to pair up in the midfield with the Caliber of players we have there, and currently our Midfielders are all starters in their Clubs and their Clubs are one of the biggest and strongest in their League.
1• Halimatu Ayinde Rosengard, Sweden
2• Christy Ucheibe Benfica, Portugal
3• Toni Payne, Spain
4• Onyi Echegini, Italy
5• Deborah Abiodun, USA

Will Randy stick with the World Cup trio of Ayinde, Ucheibe and Payne with Onyi and Abiodun serving as alternatives? Or Onyi and Abiodun will seat out two of the 2023 World Cup Starters?

See Christy Ucheibe winning a treble not much have been said about her, Echegini scoring 10goals and 1 assists in her first pro season playing just half of the season no much hype. see Ihezuo 3rd top scorer in Mexico nothing to make wave for her. Ordega top scorer in Russia currently but the media isn’t hyping them enough but make 1 Zambia player just score 1 goal Zambia no go allow people breath for social media.

While I think we need to do a better job hyping our players, this isn't primarily the reason for the aforementioned.

The primary reason is because of the league that they play in. For example, 2 seasons ago the most popular Zambian player wasn't Barbara Banda but Kundananji because the later was 2nd highest goal scorer in Spain. Banda was playing in China and had more goals but didn't get much attention. I even had struggle finding out what her stats was.

JOE is even getting more recognition all things considered but isn't getting as much cause she's playing in Italy. Just last season, Tabitha Chawinga was also in Italy and scored 23 goals. She wasn't even in the CAF top 10 women category. Now that she's in France she's getting a lot more attention and many are already pitching her for the CAF awards. Same applies to other names you mentioned.

Chiamaka needs to move to a better club. She doesn't have to leave France to do that. She can get a deal with Lyon or PSG. Or she goes to a top team in England or Madrid in Spain. Those are her options.

No matter how many trophies Christy wins in Portugal (she won just as much last season too) she won't get recognition until she moves to a better league. I think JOE is fine in Juventus as the Italian league is gaining recognition by the day and she's in one of the best teams there.

You’re on point, right now the Portuguese league is on the rise and I can rate them almost as same level as the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish leagues.. Benfica is a big club and a Champions League Playing side and as such she deserves more recognition as even Thembi once played there but didn’t even stay up to 3months before leaving.

Ucheibe is arguably the strongest and most energetic defensive Midfielder in World, She’s far better than the likes do Kiera Walsh, Patri, Oberdorf, Jackie Groenen, Amandine Henry and many more in the defensive side of their job as DM as she does it tirelessly but what set the rest ahead of her in that role is the Passing Game, which I think she’s now getting better on while playing from the CB position for Benfica.

Oberdorf, Groenen can’t win the Ball from their opponents as Ucheibe does, if the Coaches can work on her passes she should be playing in Barcelona, Lyon, PSG, Chelsea, Man City, Real Madrid etc

If you have strong defensive midfielders like Ayinde, Ucheibe and Abiodun in your Midfield I see no reason a Coach will be worried playing against those forwards like Banda, Chawinga Sisters, Dumornay, Kundananji with higher testosterone levels than usual. I bet you if any of those forwards meet Ucheibe or even small Abiodun body go tell them. Regina Otu is another Combative midfielder too just that the Footballing IQ matters a lot too.
