Yesterday being 15 april.a guy came to her shop to deposit 95000 to his bank account.the lady charge him 1000 for her transaction service after counting the money.the guy refuse and say he is going to pay 700 and collected his money back.the lady has to call his elder brother who is the owner of the business and he told her to collect the 700 like that since the market is dull generally.the lady collected the money perform the transaction and the guy left only for her check the money after 5 minutes and she found out that what the guy actually gave her was 12000 the guy use four pieces of 1000 naira note and cover the other 100 naira note.
She has been crying since yesterday.i will attach the transaction details and the money in question.she has gone to zenith Bank this morning and she was told to go and get police report and some other details too.pls I want to know is there anyway she can get her money back.

The guy swapped the money when she returned it back to call her brother. This type of thing was done to a friend in olowu ikeja in 2017 though we later catch the guy.

If somebody gives you money 20 times count it and check it 20 times and make sure you are the last person that checked the money before offering the service.

Though she can go and report the account

sometime ago in kaduna, a guy came to buy bricks of recharge cards worth 45k from a vendor. Niggah paid the unsuspecting lady with small naira denominations. When the lady was done counting, she found out the money was shorting by 2 thousand naira. she complained to the guy and niggah told her he must have lost the 1k and does not have another.

The lady handed the cash back to him and collected her goods without knowing that the guy had swapped the card bricks with fake cards that were just sealed.
That was how the girl was duped of 45k that day.

Be careful wen it comes to money matters

The Oga should not be wicked and accept the case as a loss. It is a pity. Some of these guys that do this use charms.

tell her to go to the nearest zenith bank to complain so they can put the account on hold and make sure you show them the screen shot of the transaction if they are not answering you cause nuisance there or you look for the branch manager office I promise you immediately they will do that for you be fast about it

let me tell you something about bank the only two people who can help are service manager or branch manager all those small ladies at the counter don't have say just tell her to start crying or making noise there they will surely help her

Even if the guy exchanged the money after she counted and gave it back to him, simple logic says she count again! My colleague counts money dispensed by the ATM, this is naija

I always tell u fools running pos,always have a gun,and hard looking guys at least 30 meters away. When it becomes a hurry hurry pos transaction,its always end in premium tears. So she ddnt count the money before reversing the non pending transaction. Whenever someone comes to run pos and using hurry hurry as excuse,check well. Na scamer be that and its always either fake credit alert or wash wash like this case.too bd, one beer parlour for hood go dey count this money now o, let's say beer parlour today,turkey,guineas,star,etc,catfish...5k.

Sunday ..lounge or any mall or restaurant with a smallie. 15k wasted.

Monday,scammer rushes to his other bank for cash what ,cash deposit.. have the bank flag his bvn and freeze al other account. However scammer would have withdrawn all in CASH sme day,few minutes after the scam to definitely another pos vendor.Sorry for your loss

Honestly, she would need a miracle to get her money back.

Except she has visual proof linking the captured money to the fraudulent customer, there is no way she would have a strong case against him with mere words of mouth. If he denies giving her less than she credited him, it would be her words against his.

Only a miracle can make her get her money back. The miracle can happen in the form of the customer confessing to his crime.

There was no juju. It was her fault, she initiated transaction after the guy collected the money.When she gave him the money he did the exchange.

How come banks don't experience this?Her carelessness made her got defrauded.

The only solution is to get a court order to block the account i just hope it is not an AZA account

she failed to recounts the money believed that the money still remain the same
