The choice is yours.

iOS: If you want to make apps for iPhones and iPads, use Swift. You'll need a Mac laptop to run XCODE editor, so If you cannot afford a Mac laptop right now, just avoid this route.

Build Android apps using Kotlin or Java. Android studio editor is required and very resource intensive, so you also need a very powerful PC or Mac (if affordable).

Cross-platform, if you want to create apps for both iOS and Android, think about using languages like JavaScript (with frameworks like React Native) or Dart (with Flutter). With these, you can write one set of code that works on both platforms. You can use both Visual Studio Code or Android Studio editor for this.

Whatever you do, don't use Xamarin.

Lol xamarin bawo it has been depreciated since c#10 roughly 2 years ago, .net MAUI is the replacement for it.

Alright cool, I didn't even know that but still, no one should be using .net MAUI. It is a complete waste of time and resources.

No, time and money invested into it is not proportionate to return on investment. If you learn Flutter or React Native today, in 6 months time you can easily get a Flutter or React Native job but learning .net MAUI will only keep you frustrated in the job market. No point.
