For the people above me -
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos PPRO has confirmed that the person behind the shooting has been identified as a police officer serving at Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 17, Lion Building, Lagos.

DSS has also denied it's none of it's officers.

So which other prove do you need that it is truly not a DSS officer. I don't understand . Do you guys just choose to show temerity in your stupidity.

you mean DSS or police. Because from this rejoinder, this is the FPRO confirming it is a police officer. Security guys need to conduct themselves orderly.

When they are quick to deny, know that they are involved.tongue

In the story, the manger said they called him before coming. So he has contact with the killers, pick up the manager of that filling station and investigation starts from there.

Fuel scarcity and so?

There was fuel scarcity in Anambra for more than 3 weeks when Peter Obi was Anambra state Governor, and even one popular SARS Igbo officer killed 5 Anambra men at a filling station in Onitsha, what did Peter Obi do?

Why should we even blame Tinubu or his government for fuel scarcity when we all know how Peter Obi supporters are sabotaging this government. Let me say it here for all to know, Obidients are the cause of this fuel scarcity because they will go to filling station and buy fuel and then pour it away angry angry

If u like no go hustle make peter obi no go be ur problem
No give excuse say na peter obi cause ur poverty oo

Quest7777:
How are they sure their officers were not involved?
Thought there are eye witness accounts of officers wearing DSS branded T-shirts.

They can identify the shooter with the bullet recovered

I've seen something like this happen before. On this particular day, I travelled to Akure and was at the park close to chicken Republic.

I observed a commercial bus driver parked at the other side of the road. He alighted to open the door for one of his passengers. Finished with that and wanted to continue with his journey by trying to manoeuvre his way into the road.

Unfortunately, two pickup vans, 1 Tacoma and 1 Hilux( abi no be wetin dem dey call pickup be that?) Belonging to you know who was coming from behind.

Things happened so fast but all I know was that the Tacoma had lost a side mirror to the right side and was very angry with the commercial bus driver.

They just blocked the road there while the driver of the Tacoma while the driver of the Tacoma quickly beat up the commercial bus driver. He kept asking what he had done.

When they started seeing his stiff response to the quite hefty driver, they decided to come down from the vehicles with their guns and attempted to even take the guy away.

Omo, people gather ooo. It was now getting out of their control. The guy was not yielding to follow them and the people were against them. They started shooting in the air. The moment you see their guns you already know who they are.

Omo, I just ducked my head somewhere and told God, " after this my long journey from kwara to Akure, shey na come stray bullet go end am? God abeg ooo"

Some people ran for their lives but others stayed with the guy. Those armed men later left in shame and everyone was rejoicing.

Re: Our Officers, Not Involved In The Shooting At A Lagos Filling Station - DSS by streetzdreamz(m): 9:00am On May 03
It was clearly stated the manager knew they were coming. The manager should be made to reveal their identity instead of all this accusations and denial. Nigerians are quite resilient when it comes to hardship, I've decided I won't be on a queue nor struggle to get fuel anymore in this country. Talk less of fight over fuel to the point of losing my life, that's bullshit. I wonder when Nigerians would understand that majority of our armed officials are ego driven and mentally unstable to carry out their lawful duties. These guys would pull the trigger on impulse, no second thought, no rules of engagement. You don't argue with an armed drunk! Rip to the dead.

These force or uniformed men and women are becoming terrible. If someone had videoed that act, they would have dealt with the person mercilessly.
You don't want to be videoed and you don't allow civilians live their normal life.

You can't be a force officer and at same time a civilian.

The question is how are they 100% sure their officers were not involved?

Even if their officers were involved, you think they would say that and soil their public image.
