Very pathetic situation we find ourselves...

It is the chopping before the projects. Pls ask Umahi if his airport is functioning now. These guys leave important things and do the reverse. Osun people need more technology tools in farming and other aspect

Oshogbo man don carry project put for oshogbo grin

The question is that environment the best for such ? If yes then they can go ahead but the way a typical Nigerian behaves I don't believe they did any studies that made them come to this conclusion. Former chiefs have located projects in their LGA just because they are from there and not because it's the best place to cite that project.

Is all good 👍

Be careful please

Run 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ from anything called Insurance Company in Nigeria. They are all Scammers.
They don't pay claims.

Example. IGI INSURANCE COMPANY

The project itself is okay, but the disturbing issue is the involvement of the World Bank.
If the World Bank is involved, that means this is just another loan.

Reading Comme ts it is sad to see the percentage of people who do not see farther than their nose..... they be like fish that rush bait with mouth wide open ... swallowing hook... line.... and sinker. How many massive multi .lion dollar projects were presented in the past?.... how many ecame a reality?... how many have added weight to the foreign debt that's urging us alive? We to date ... in this 21st century ... cannot provide sufficient nor constant electricity nor potable water ... cannot enefit from our own oil and natural resources .... cannot produce steel ... but here we are believing we can produce cutting edge aircrafts. Who did thus to us? The World Bank will continue to offer or give us loans for any project ..... the more the merrier it will be. Why wouldn't they? What happens when one has tremendous assets but cannot repay his loans? I say no more.

What would you suggest to the Nigeria Air Force? Never to embark on such project or to take it elsewhere?

This event was held in February 2023 when Oladayo Amao was still Chief of Air Staff(under President Buhari) Current Chief of Air Staff is Hassan Abubakar.
I am wondering why the op is just posting it as if it happened recently

But I doubt such to be the case

Oladayo Amao is no more Chief of Air staff. He was one of the service chiefs that Tinubu inherented from Buhari. They have all been removed.

Amao isn’t the current chief of Air staff, so definitely, the projects has been dashed and stopped.

Here I am again. You are right, definitely, normally, the project cannot continue just as Shagari failed to do Abeokuta Lagos expressway in 1979 and as Yaradua failed to continue with OLOKOLA LNG project and Obasanjo dream and project died.

More importantly, all the small boys complaining here are from Southern Nigeria. Nobody from the North among them. If the project is taken to Kano or Kaduna as usual, none of them will ask any question even their fathers cannot have audacity to question the rationale behind it

We all witnessed how Service Chiefs established Universities and take military institutions and base/command to their vicinity no complain. It is when it is located in Osun State that the Yanmiri have headache.

Despite FG spending only 15% of Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway Project, they created nuisances on the project. They ask why the project did not start from Calabar. Can Calabar route generate enough revenue for the investor as the project continues?

unfortunately the project have been stopped since last year. It wasn’t budgeted in this year Fg projects listing. Also Tinubu has changed all the service chiefs

we can't or won't build for now though might assemble reason being we don't have structure on ground to support such venture.
all our STEEL ROLLING MILL aren't functional e.g. Ajaokuta in Kogi, Alaja(Delta Steel) the to major ones aren't alive so what do we make of this?
I will love for this project to see the light of the day buy the aforementioned is a major factor.
