Surely not a priority. A good project but not a priority only for the wise to understand.

It's like when you are living in a leaky roof and decided to start a new duplex project that will last 5 years while allowing your roof to continue leaking in the small house.

Almost all FG roads are death traps and economy messed up but our target is a project that will take all our money.

What happened to Nigeria to Niger rail project? Completed?
How can these projects improve the suffering of Nigerians in the immidiate?
Nigerians should be smart enough to know when projects are done to get political favour. This project is just one of it.

All over Europe, the masses are discussing economy. Why are we always deceived by white elephant project? I can bet you that another president will come to power and still be using this project as a political campaign. To finish it, wahala. Has Tinubu finished all FG highways in the SS? Do SS have all FG roads in good condition? Are these roads not what the people are using now? What of FG roads in SW? Completed? Are the roads in good shape now? What of the north and SE? All FG roads good now?

There is a reason we need a successful business man to run this country. This is just one of the reason. APC run Nigeria based on people sentiment and never achieve results.
the bolded is not & shouldn't be used as comparison. But I understand. If the military dictator we had in the past were busy with infrastructural development as outlined in our various developmental plans over the decades of our history rather than going about saying we've money but just don't know what to do with it. Then we wouldn't be here, we would be somewhere else talking about sending people to the moon. But the best time is now hopefully it doesn't become another white elephant project like Amaechi did in ph with the mono rail, I kept wondering why Wike didn't complete it...crazy Rich Nigeria politicians

The truth is that the project isn't a priority, but watch Tinubu miscreants invade this thread like hordes of cows invading a farmland to vent their anger and frustrations on a man who has no hand in their present predicament.

I believe the priority should be to fix the existing roads with the over 25 trillion they intend to pump into this project

I see reason why you guys will remain poor both mentally and physically. Somone wanted to waste all Ur resources available on white elephant project you are hailing him, very soon u will start shouting Nigeria is bad, are u not of the bad egg supporting thieves and hailing them while they stole your life inheritance and birth right.
How on earth is such project has good impact to the situation of Nigeria.
Besides all Nigerians knows Nigerian politicians who won't complete 70 kilometres road in years, u know tinubu will never complete such project.
You fail to realise they are carving another means of stealing money. Why not that 1 trillion on power. Those are the capital project that can move Nigeria forward. Power is the mainstream of economic development. The Lagos ore road is not congested and where there is, it's lack of maintenance and poor state .Many ss fg road are in poor state.
But majority of u are here on niaraland playing tribalism and favouritism with your destiny.
But u will goto church praying that it's one witch or wizard in Ur family.
The problem of Nigeria is that they don't know what policy and it's implications all about despite they are suffering from the consequences.
We choose to be happy with people oppressing us.
Bible says pray for Jerusalem, those who love her will prosper. The question how many of u actually love Ur country. Every of Ur action shows u hate Nigeria and u are shouting ur living a miserable life.

My question to you is who determines priority projects?

Is it Tinubu or Obi/Obidients?

Is it Obi that would teach or force on Tinubu what to do?

Why is Obi in pain over the project?

Are the people on the Coastal road not Nigerians? Are they not entitled to government presence in their communities?

I know Obi doesn't want Tinubu to succeed and secondly bcoz the road is not passing through Agulu.

Obi doesn't have sense, he's visionless, he can't see beyond today, and as such he can't be more visionary than a Lagos State local government Chairman if he's a Lagosian.

As far as Obi is concerned, people in the coastal regions are not important enough to have a road built for them.

He’s a really awful character.

My brother if you agree with me that we have similar projects abadoned in the past, why do you think we should initiate another similar projects without completing existing poor road infrastructure. See, it's because of the way we think that makes these politicians treat us like fuuls. Instead of asking why many federal roads are death traps, we are being deceived with another multi billion naira project. In the next 10 years, it will become another topic of discussion for a different crop of criminal politicians. Accusations and counter accusations.

Competition and opposition makes a democracy thrive and burgeon. If this is what opposition presently is in Nigeria, then practical Democracy will be abused eventually. Peter Obi shouldn't bark on every political subject to make himself heard or relevant.
This issue of Lag-Cal coastal highway is a done deal and there's no going back as structures have been demolished and work has been initiated. Where this project eventually culminates is definitely going to determine the shape of the ballot cum 2027.
