Bridge Head Housing Estate members appeal for reappointment of Orji

Members of Bridge Head Housing Estate Community Onitsha have appealed to the governor of State Prof Charles Soludo to reappoint Chief Emeka Joseph Orji as the chairman Onitsha South Local Government Council.

In a statement issued by the President General Hon. Afam Udeogalanya and Secretary ,Comrade Ihezuru Okonkwo stated the Orji has really done well as Onitsha south local council chairman.

The statement said their appeal for the reappointment Emeka Joseph Orji was for the continuity of his good work in the council.

"On behalf of the executive members and the entire Bridge Head Housing Estate
Community, we hereby use this medium to felicitate with you for deeming it fit
to commence the appointment of Local Government Transition Committee
members in the state.
Indeed, the value of a functional local government in a state cannot be
overemphasized. More importantly is the appointment of credible characters
at the helm to make lasting impact.
We humbly endorse Chief Emeka Joseph Orji to be kindly considered and re-
appointed the Chairman transition Committee for Onitsha South local
Government area. He is tested and trusted and our relationship with him over
the years towards grassroot development attests to his competence and credibility.
For purposes of continuity, we implore Your Excellency to use his good offices
in this regard and make the right appointment for the people"
