With the Igbo still retaining a very high population in Nigeria today despite being victims in a grievous WAR were over 2 million mostly igbos died.

Can it not be said that probably their population would have been far higher today perhaps being the most populated tribe in Nigeria if not for the civil war?

Heck the Igbo suffered depopulation from the slavery era,yet their population remained high, then they suffered genocide multiple times prior to and after independence in Nigeria but they still retain a very high population.

This goes to show that the igbos may be the natural biggest tribe in Nigeria by population .

This is true.

The Igbo population has quadrupled since then. The war indirectly claimed the lives of 12 million people.

Perhaps, you don't know the OP. He is a tribalist that pitches one tribe against the other.

He created a topic for sad east people to feed on, and masturbate upon on each other.

Especially with all the massacre up north too including Jos, even before and after the war, but they keep breeding like rabbits on heat.

If they start another senseless war, they will receive the same massacre

Population growth doesn’t happen that way, in such situations, men were pushed to marry more women in the aftermath of the war, and reproduce even more. The population couldn’t have been any different. The poverty Igbos suffered also led to more children, the population could have significantly been similar to today.
