Please, don't mention Udom Emmanuel as a good performing governor in Akwa Ibom State again. You hear?
sleek214:
Cool. What the Agulu thief couldn't do in Anambra. Akwa Ibom has always been Blessed with good performing governors since 1999..... Obong Victor Attah, Godswill Akpabio, Udom Emmanuel and now Pastor Eno. God bless Akwa Ibom State.

Otti, see your life outside.

Ottih is far better than all your governors combined. What he has done and continues to do is beyond building just one school.

Pray to have a great man like Ottih as governor because his kind is very rare.

If I have this type of primary school in my area I will withdraw my children from private school. First in history East of the Niger

Lol, first in history in Akwa Ibom my dear. There exists lots of public schools in Rivers and Anambra that look more or less like this. If you’re saying you can’t find such public schools in the South west or North, I will agree but SS and SE? No!

You need to travel and see.

Keep the fire 🔥 burning Sir.
Indeed! Akwa Ibom State Nyin is Rising!

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State may be referred to as one of the best governors in Nigeria right now following the construction of the new Christ the King Model Primary School.

The primary school initiated and completed by Governor Eno is located at Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, the state capital.

The school project was carried out by U & K Limited, an indigenous construction firm.

The new Christ the King Model Primary School is ready for commissioning on Friday, 17th May 2024.

See aerial photos of the new Christ the King Model Primary School, Uyo, below:

I didn't just think they're 3D. The ones you've shared, bar none, are all 3D as well. If you can't tell that they are, that's what I was talking about. E.g., how come there's never a human being around when these photos are taken not just for proof of life, but also for proof that they're not 3D?

kenny714433:

Lol.. It looked so nice that you think it's a 3D model right? See the Primary Health Centre he also commissioned.

The mentality and mindset of an average Nigerian has been successfully bastardized, traumatized and fingered by politicians.

Imagine the nonsense below;

"Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State may be referred to as one of the best governors in Nigeria right now following the construction of the new Christ the King Model Primary School".

Is this how low the bar has been put?

Pathetic is an understatement.
That was a comment from paid political jobber. Everything now is now a means of seeking daily bread including praise mongering for politicians.

This is beautiful. One year in office is more than enough to start seeing good projects like this

How many of these schools did he build in the 12 months?
How many classrooms did he build in various schools?
How many teachers did he employ?
How many more children are enrolled in free schools?

Should you not reflect on these statistics and other related statistics before you decide whether this is beautiful or not, given all the revenue that the governor managed on behalf of the masses in one year

No matter how good I am to my people when I become the governor of my state, I will still have spies in the remaining 35 states giving me real time update of what other Governors are up to, so I can always stay one step ahead.

This is laudable from Gov Eno, construction o not reabilitation like some people Messiah wey no build a single school for 8 years grin

Your last line is untrue. Besides, the reforms Peter made in Anambra has stood the test of time as the state leads in educational competitions and rankings.

You political sycophants are terrible and mentally malnourished riff-raffs!

There is nothing to copy here. The problem we have in Nigeria is bad maintenance culture. The numerous ones Amaechi built as governor over 10 years ago I don't know what has happened to them.

So, why claim the same for this one?

Hand it over to the church to manage for the best results.

absolutely no form of respect, I think you're a cheap, demented sycophant. I live in Akwa Ibom and for the first time ever, I have seen a sitting governor who's worse than Udom Emmanuel was. What has Umo Eno done ? Appointing 1 million political jobbers ? Visiting a new church every Sunday ? Paying courtesy visits to Lagos while using them as a guise to siphon money ? Nothing is working in this state; absolutely nothing. It is okay to sell cheap lies in exchange for warmed eba and soup, but do it with some shame. Unamikot

Na so things bad for Ndito Akwa Ibom State?

Amaechi did more than this during his tenure as Rivers governor.

This reminds me of the 774 beautiful primary schools Amaechi Amaechi built across the 24 LGA in Rivers state.

Today those schools are a shadow of itself owing to lack of maintenance.

Bro I just tire. I weak for Nigerians.

On average each state has about 20 lga and 10 wards pee Lga which means there are at least 200 public schools and 200 primary Healthcare centres in each state.

90% of public schools in Nigeria do not meet UNESCO standard, likewise 90% of Primary Healthcare Centres do not have the World Health Organisation minimum service requirements.

It's painful seeing Nigerians celebrating a governor for building just 1 "model school". Its really painful.

It's a good deed, but it will be better the deed is spread all through the state in a better sustainable propensity. Yes, the school is situated near the government house so it also serves as a very good PR......We can't keep applauding minimum efforts. The Allocation into such an oil rich state is too much for small feats. Apart from politics there is no other industry that is viable in that state else someone should state it cos I don't know ...
But wait o, were all those Gun Shots and in-fighting necessary? The way that young man was brutalized wasn't necessary at all, hope the governor heard the true story behind it...AKS is at least known as a peaceful state.
