It’s now been more than two years since you left your dreams of becoming a stockbroker and now you are considering giving up on that golden dream because of the challenges of passing the exams.

The truth is, we all face obstacles in pursuing our goals, whether they are professional or personal. We started the idea thinking we are on the right track and have made a great decision with an enthusiastic and hardworking mindset,

But When we realize it’s becoming more challenging and overbearing for us, we try to give up. Our support system starts working against us when we need them the most.

Strong as we may be, we all have a breaking point- That moment when the potential reward stops justifying the effort.

Usually, that’s the barrier that separates your best shot and your best reality.

So before you throw in the towel and go back to something safe and far less taxing and challenging,

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Why do I want to pursue this goal, to begin with, has anything changed?

You had a good reason for committing to this plan of becoming a stockbroker right? You visualized a financially free future once you become chartered,

You realized that promotion and prestige will come as soon as you are chartered.

The truth is, you still want those things as much as you did before

You just stopped believing you could have them because you believe passing CIS exams to become chartered is beyond you.

2. Is the reason I really want to quit pursuing this goal worth it?

Often the primary reason to why you want to abandon this project is because you are afraid it will be another wasting of your time and resources all over again.

Because you are afraid you are going to fail again

But if you don’t keep going, you will never know how far you could have gone

And you will miss out on being the person you would have become.

If after asking yourself all these questions and still feel determined about your decision to give up,

Then good luck to abandoning your dreams goal of becoming a stockbroker.

But if you don’t…

If there is some lingering doubt, then keep working towards that dream that you know will elevate your career and give you that self-fulfillment.

P.S. Take a different approach if you need to, but whatever you do, don’t give yourself a reason to one day tell yourself, “I quit because it was too challenging for me and scared because I believed it was beyond me.

Because you might regret it later in life, and if you’re delaying it, you’ll question yourself why didn’t you do it sooner?

You are better off a Chartered Stock-broker.
