Once soldiers start getting involved
in civilian disputes, they will be dealt
with like civilians...

They shouldn't forget what happened
on Okuama Delta State where over
15 soldiers on illegal duty were killed
by militants..

Some people that have soldiers as friends
have the habit of mobilizing them to
go and intimidate anyone they have
problems with..

Do anyhow,
See anyhow❗️❗️❗️

Everything dailymail said about Nigeria is true,

Nigeria is a banana republic, barbaric place where rule of law doesn't exist. Wild wild west where everyone with a little power think dey can do as they like. Why not allow police to do investigation and fish out those thugs.

Oyinbo say Nigeria is a useless country and we are proving them right.

With this useless people in the army I have the feeling that junior officers are going to take over government in Nigeria very soon.

They cannot. The era of military rule is over. In fact, former soldiers won't rule this country as civilians again; Buhari ended that SENSELESS era. The same civilians' taxes pay their salaries and they turn around to denigrate them with the word "bloody civilians"?

@BadBradley

Nigeria army has lost focus and is now purposeless, petty and trying desperately to replace the Nigeria police force.

You know something wella.. Respect.
They just won't leave bloody civilians alone.

Look at how they surrounded the poor and harmless officers and beat them to pulp. The occupants of the complex should point the shop and give the name of the main perpetrator that alerted tugs to beat the soldiers. But I believe they want to cover him up and let the issue slide.

With the way things are going bad, just watch what might happen in Nigeria.

The current politicians were only fighting the military so that they will come into power to start sharing money and Making sure the youths remain in poverty

It was a very unfortunate and unnecessary incident. Why beat the soldiers like that when they weren't trying to be violent themselves? No life was at risk, so why?.......Those banex touts need to be taught a lesson to serve as a deterrent to others who may want to try this again.

We should respect our men in uniform. Report through the right channels if they are found wanting.

Where are the cowards now when Banex is locked up? Why can't they show up to enforce their rights?

Respect is reciprocal . Our soldiers need to respect the civilians first and they will equally be respected. The truth of the matter is Nigerians don't respect the military we only fear them. Fear is not respect and that's because of their usual misuse of power and bullying civilians at the slightest opportunity they get. If they don't change their ways , they will still get more beatings because at the moment, Nigerians are frustrated due to the hardship of the country and if anyone oversteps, that anger and frustration will be poured on such person.

Beating of soldiers is not good, soldiers also beating civilians is also bad.

Nigeria don go...

In the north with boko... army is helpless but to civilians una get power..

..... well no one support beating men in uniform..

But why must army overdo... in cases like this...

Nigerian are angry... this is how the army pushed this present day boko haram... in the year 1999 by killing their leader.... then... matter that would have been resolved in a civil way.... has now turned deadly...

*In maiduguri*.... that is how this monsters were made..

Pushing Nigerians to the wall..... hmmmmmmm

Even if they did that, it doesn't warrant a bunch of sham forces running up and doing mass destruction. There were more innocent people going about their business in that market, except for a few angry uncontrollable people that were assaulting the people in uniform, maybe the people in uniform were terrorist, or bullies, or have switched their product and want to come back to do 419, or maybe they were threatening the sellers.

What should have been done, regardless of what happened. They should have called ekelebe and made their complaints, presented facts if available. Then let ekelebe do their work.

I have to agree with you. You are very correct. Ideally, barracks should be far from the heart of town. Military personnel shouldn't be having regular interface with civilians.

Yes cause their Soldiers do not bully it Citizens, rather they serve their Citizens. Inshort in such countries been a Soldier is a service to your Nation. For Naija na job, they behave like Demi God here. 100% of Nigerians join the Military for the salary and pride

Ah well, I'm sure those who really attacked those soldiers would have ran for safety of their heads.

The ignorance in Nigeria is way too much. You don't attack any member of security agency on duty. As long as they're wearing their uniform, you never attack them.
