Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics, has developed a system of calculating the candidate’s average score after their Post-UTME exercise. This article will give you detail on How To Calculate the Screening Score.

Academic institutions like Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics has been doing this for years since they are using this method as a basis for admission selection.

This method will calculate your JAMB score and the UTME Screening score. In contrast, the formula to check your chances in getting admission in any Nigeria Universities, Polytechnics, and College of Education is very extremely simple;

How To Calculate:

Firstly, you will divide your JAMB score by 8.
Secondly, you will then divide the Post-UTME score by 2.
Sum the two results together.

See example on how to calculate:

Bhen scored 240 in JAMB and 60 in post-UTME, therefore this How to calculate MOUAU screening score.

Your jamb: 240/8 = 30

Your post UTME: 60/2 = 30

Therefore, you will add the two together

Your jamb score + your post -UTME

(30 + 30 = 60)

Which means Bhen Total score will now be 60%
