Fraudulent Debit by Ouchbabe(f): 5:27am On May 22
Good morning Nairalanders,
I'm in pains right now.
I went to hospital on Monday because I was very sick. Some drugs were prescribed for me. I needed to get money for the drugs.
So I went to use the Access Bank ATM at Obalende but it was out of service. Opposite the bank was a POS girl.
So I withdraw 10,200 and had a balance of 4,330 in my account.
Yesterday i saw that my account was reading 1330 Book balance 4,330.
I just woke up now to see that 3,000 was debited, 1,500 in two places.
I never authorized the debit.
What could have happened?
The beneficiary is UBER...Lagos Island.
I have never ordered any UBER. before
Who could be this heartless to remove the last money in my account?
Note that nobody has access to my PIN
Please what should I do next? I'm confused
Mynd44 OAM4J kindly move to front. Thanks

I think your card details has been compromised by POS machine, would advise you don't use that card because the account will still be cleared again. Also confront the POS person.

You are right. I went to my bank yesterday. The customer service person advised me to block the card and print a new one.
As for the POS girl, I can't go back to her because her location is far from mine. Na God go judge her
