Naaahh!!

Havertz you try for us this season especially the Run-ins

15g/a in 13 games (during the Run-ins).

13 of those match winning goals(or assist).

You really try well well.

And this is coming from one of your biggest critic.

Kudos to Arteta for also not been stubborn and switching him to the CF position

I am absolutely with you on this. While I don’t believe he should remain our long term solution, I can’t deny he was clutch and rewarded Arteta’s faith.

He worked tirelessly for the team, more than any other striker on the roster did or could have and he easily could have score more goals.

Definitely one of our best players in 2024.

Illusion is when you leave a club that is competitive and were you are playing regular to go to your dream club and seat on the bench for more than 75% of the season but won a trophy and a medal that comes with regret.
Many examples abound.

Where have you been prophet?

You abandoned your people and left them in the hands of the Philistines and Assyrians under the kings Todd Boehly and Egbali respectively.

See how your people are gnashing and wailing everyday cos of lack of prophecy and direction cheesy

Anyways, I've met another Prophet and she says we're bringing it home tongue

I'm sure you have a club and they have a thread....You should be there to interact with other fans of your team unless you don't like what is going on there.

Don't let my innocent post bring a guilt to your heart.

I think Mostob took the words out of my mouth. Smith-Rowe has no use in this team anymore; we don't miss him despite his long absence.

He is not the only player injured this season , but I can't confidently say he's one player we didn't miss. He falls under the same classification as Nelson; he should leave so can have another player occupy that space.

I don't even mind if we promote a youth player to his role sef
It will not be wise for me to sell ESR now.

ESR is like KDB in terms of talent. Good movement both on and off the ball, thinks well, good positioning and good finishing with an eye for goals. Though this season he has been unable to keep up with the pace. His problem this season was a slow return to full fitness. I suspect it was deliberate to avoid reoccurrence of his injury.

For such players you have to be patient if not we would be making the mistake Chelsea made losing KDB.

Arteta built the team around him which favoured him. But his finishing needs to be better if he can continue the role. He should pray that we don't get a goal poacher because next season Arteta may want to change the system especially if he signs a true striker

If only Teta did what he did for LW to RW. Cos Trossard is a huge success for us. No Forward must pass through what Saka is going through again. This burnout thing should be avoided. We should leave that consistency for Defenders like GabuSaliba
Yeahh...
Saka needs to be freed and well rested some times.

I wasn't really happy how he fell of form this season. He needs all the fitness he can get cos a dangerous Saka, no one comes close.

Hopefully we get that deputy

Seriously he was the highlight of the 2024 games. Only thing was we needed a totally different approach for UCL nights. Once we get that, we are good to fly Emirates

True...
Na him really be highlight of 2024.

But then, if we get a good striker he would be on the bench. But then, Arteta fit carry am go Midfield again which is my fears..

He should just be a CF and him and the new CF should be slugging it out

The way baba wan cry after scoring that goal... kinda emotional. The guy is too emotionally fragile. Kudos to Ode and Saka for giving him that PK. That was what pushed him. Definitely, he is going to be better next season.
Not only him, most of the players were emotional too. I read that Saka also cried (same as Havertz too) and most were moved to tears which made Ode to step up and give that rousing speech

Hopefully he gets better and better next season cos we really need everyone to be at peak levels next season.

Yeah, definitely one of our best players.

I was seriously surprised about his form and mentality in this run in. He was really really really amazing.

Hopefully he keeps up the good work.

Tho I still expect a striker tho

Na my fear be this reason why I'm not too strong on him being sold except of course someone waay better comes.

He's attributes and talents are too good to ignore and he just lacks fitness this season.

But anyways, let's just see how it unfolds

Chelsea has changed coaches since Mikel Arteta and won UCL, Super Cup and club world cup, reached multiple finals.

Man United have won Carling Cup, reached multiple finals.

But we have Arsenal aka We Try Again Next Season, one FA Cup final, no other major finals reached in the last 3 years.

I will have no big ish cos from my POV, a CF that can trouble the top ucl giants and keep them on their toes, singlehandedly and collectively, is my target. Let that presence be there. Kai can't give that and GJ can't either. so if that balance can come, no p. Plus i am one that want to see the stats all around Odegaard mehn. He is a player that can do 40 G/A in a season and that's facts.

that burnout triggered the mockery of our boy and they began to make him look inferior to dem Palmer and Foden. Never Again.

ESR is not anywhere near KDB please. Were you not the one who said we need another dynamic midfielder like KDB? Arteta would have used ESR in that role but we all know why. BTW, his talent is not the issue here, his unavailability due to injuries is why we should move him on.

The way spy always make blasphemous claims when he defends players he loves needs to be studied .

There’s high chance of Smith-Rowe turning out to be the white man’s Abou Diaby than him being Debruyne . Diaby spent 10 whopping years at Arsenal and didn’t play up to 200 games for us director injury . Just take a look at Smith-Rowe’s injury records in 5 years at Arsenal and u can tell he’s on the way to replicate Diaby’s injury records .

We shouldn’t keep such player because of sentiments about his potential talent. Let’s sell him to maybe Dutch league or German league and move on. Na academy product him be, we will be making good money for whatever amount we sell him.

Debruyne was not Chelsea’s homegrown player, so it is understandable that they feel hurt for selling a player they bought and turned out to become a superstar after he was sold . I won’t feel any remorse or regret if Smith-Rowe is sold tomorrow and then he becomes a Dutch league sensation next year .

Exactly...you have said it all. This is a stage where we need to be ruthless. We should let him go so another player can take his spot. Morgan Gibbs-White is who the media says we are after. If we let go of ESR for him, I won't even complain.

Reach finals sir, maybe you would win a trophy after four years.

After blowing 700m+ and all those hypes and noise of dominating and you end back-to-back seasons without a trophy. Disgraced out off Carabao, FA Cup, Europa and got beaten by the worst Bayern Munich team of all time

When arsenal is mentioned, the word mediocrity is standing next to it.

U get!

It is quality replacement that matters to me, not some unnecessary sentimental attachment to certain players.

Xhaka left Arsenal and we got a quality & worthy replacement in Rice; that's the kind of stuff I want to see. Not keeping an injury prone talented player with the fear that he may turn out to be Serge Gnabry or Kevin Debruyne in the future.
