T.Wolves are not going out without a fight. Game 7 just like I predicted. Murray is 4 of 18. Jokic can do no damage without Murray, the rest are just there to fill in the empty spaces.

Looks like a sold game tbh. They have shot 18 3s in the first half alone when they shot 19 in the whole of last game.

That's their undoing right there.

Even Jokic is spamming 3s.

If Jokic who is one of the highest IQ players ever is taking the 3 ball, that in itself should tell you something. As far as i can see, the Wolves are shrinking and giving up the 3 ball today

I don't know what happened that first quarter but I didn't see a team that was ready to close out the series. Else you wouldn't play the type of basketball that allows your opponent go on a 26-2 run

Can remember watching San Antonio ball back in the day and when they want to close a series on the road from the first quarter you can tell. All execution no faffing around

Nuggets started 9-2 and went phbbbbt from there

The sheer amount of bricks is crazy. You can't beat even Dodan Warriors shooting this badly

What a beatdown. Staunch defense from Wolves, but Denver's offense has been atrocious on it's own.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:43am On May 17
MPJ and especially Jamal Murray need to have a long hard look at themselves.

A team with these 2 shouldn't be scoring 5 points in 9 minutes of basketball

Minny bench dey spam 3s e dey enter. Nuggets no fit make free throws

Nuggets wont shoot this terribly on their home court sha in a Game 7.

Last night game just look like a sold game to me tbh.

I'm smelling some home cooking. Be like Adam Silver dey find game 7

Or you can credit the wolves for bothering the nuggets early and refusing to fold early on the game. This is the same playbook the Thunder need vs Doncic. Dont let him get comfortable, most of today's league superstars have no 4thq stamina if you press them early. Doncic will gas out and drop a dud.

There was stretches sha when the Nuggets were trying to get back in the game and the refs were allowing one way physicality

Not saying that would have made a difference as poorly as the Nuggets shot the ball and rebounded it as well but I still gotta say what I saw

Everyone not named Jokic shot 17/67 from the field. Not much you can really do with that

Refs read body language per game and whistle accordingly. Wolves set the tone, and never let up. If you set the tone early, refs will judge you that way. Nuggets tried to superstar themselves into winning a series, and they met a young team foolish enough to be fearless. They have given these guys confidence as even KAT is feeling abdul jabarrish grin

Nobody wants to play a young superstar with confidence in a game 7. Is that not how Lebron broke the Celtics back? Sorry Roland17, forgive me for bring up old pains, how is meerkat doing grin

Ideally, they win game 7. But they have to be kicking themselves for letting it get this far. At least its a home game

I have intentionally not commented much about my Celtics during this playoffs because no be here we dey wait for am. The Meerkat has no choice but to get us to the Final, we don't care how he does it, he must get there and win it.

Nuggets started really well. For the first minute and a half at least. However Malone made a critical mistake of not using his timeouts when Minny started their runs. You see on the road you don't fvck about and try to let your team play through a few bad possessions. Once you see your team getting loosey goosey you jump out straight and look for plays to stop the bleeding. At home with the crowd in your favor you can get away with being loose

I wouldn't overreact to this loss. I saw the game again and the amount of layups, bunnies and wide open shots the Nuggets missed was crazy. I literally saw the rim cough out shots that were almost in.

In this game 7 though it's very important for Malone to gauge very quickly if Jamal and MPJ have it going. If they don't then lean on your bench at least for their defense and ability to disrupt Minny's offense. You don't want a scenario where the guys on the floor cannot score but then cannot prevent the other team from scoring either

Celtics ke? Abi old Pistons. Celtics chased him to Miami nau

Hahahaa. We should beat whoever comes out of the Pacers/ Knicks series. Tibs has run the Knicks flat, they have nothing left physically and would be my preferred opponent but it don’t matter at this point.

This was a bad loss for the Pacers. The Knicks were without Brunson/ Anunoby at different stages of the game. The Pacers needed to force Brunson to defend with that bad ankle. It would be interesting to see how well they play when the series goes to Indians considering their starters are playing heavy minutes, especially Hart.

Just like I predicted, it was only a matter of time for Hart.

The Pacers better be ready for the officiating in New York because it is going to favor the Knucks heavily.

It's been electric. I watched Panthers and Bruins Game 2 and they spent more time fighting than playing actual hockey grin

That's the real tough guy sport.

I had my eyes on the Hurricanes coming out the East especially after adding my boy Guentzel but it seems they don't matchup well with the Rangers at all. Disappointing

My pick to win the whole thing are the Avalanche. I expect MVP in waiting McKinnon to lead them to another cup

This dope fiend dope Nichuskin couldn't keep his nose clean and wound up ruining my prediction. I don't know what's so hard about staying clean and drug free as someone who worked this hard to be an elite athlete

I would want the Knicks to win ECSF but for the sake of letting the Celtics face more competition, I want Pacers to win. I need that ECF to get to a game 7 or else Celtics will win the finals. WCF is bound to get to a game 7. I don't want the Celtics to have the advantage of days of rest. This is where Bucks would have come in if healthy. I need a fucking game 7 in the ECF.

You underestimate Celtics love for underperformance when it matters most.

I'll actually prefer Knicks to face Celtic instead of Pacers, Pacers has zero defense when pressed. Celtics will eat them whole.

Knicks will give them a fight till they tire out from playing heavy minutes non stop.

The Knicks are definitely the better team but they are injured, Randle, OG and now Hart, that is too much loss of fire power. Brunson is playing injured too. Their depleted squad can't hurt Celtics.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:27am On May 19
Doncic is my least favorite superstar to watch. It has nothing to do with his talent because that is unquestionable… the guy whines and complains tooooo much! Guy, sometimes, just play basketball and stop distracting your team mates with the whining!
