As Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is on, this is Ihialla-Orlu federal highway between Anambra and Imo States in the same Niger delta region. The 20 km road has been like this in the last 10 years.

The Niger Bridge was a disaster waiting to happen if the pressure on it was not relieved. That bridge is no longer fit and able to handle the volume and tonnage of traffic that it was carrying on a daily basis, so it had to be relieved of that responsibility before it became world news.

That is prioritization. What is the priority of an East-West road starting from Lagos?. The Lagos–Ibadan expressway is still a semi-mess. Let's not talk about Ore-Benin. Benin-Asaba.

How about the multitude of death traps called roads all over the country, but Tinubu would rather spend our money to build a road that crosses his Eko Atlantic investment and is awarded to a company in which he has substantial interest.

Shut the fawk up you stupid Agulu cannibal

Peter Obi has no hand in your present predicament.

Tinubu's calamitous economic policies are the reason you are frustrated. Channel your anger and frustrations appropriately.

Only a mad person will see it as a priority considering what the country is facing at the moment.
Re: Obi Insists Coastal Highway Project Is Not A Priority by Litmus: 12:51pm On May 03
Actually, it is arguable that no development in history that was eventually responsible for propelling human society forward was a priority at the time, from electricity, computers, internet, to space travel.

And historically the Western nations have often controlled and kept Africa backward by using the Prioritisation argument. For example, India had no business becoming a nuclear power when feeding thire poor masses and lifting millions from abject poverty was Priority at the time.
