Kingzart200: If you score around 290 to 300 in jamb and apply fit UDUS, then be rest assured that you would be admitted, even if you are the younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu. I've a younger brother studying MBBS, level 5 there amd he tells me that there are about about ten c ibo guys ( excluding Southerners) in thier clsss. They all got admitted without connection. |

Greetings medics. Glory be to God. finally with all the struggles, huddles, burning mid night candles, prayers, fasting and smart/hardwork. i just got admitted officialy via direct entry to study medicine and surgery at the University of Jos. My joy knows no bound, this z really what i dreamed of after several jamb attempts. Wrote jamb three times got several admission from diff sch to study nursing science, i scrapped the admission and again UNIZIK gave me admission to study HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY which i accepted. After resuming with them and attending inumerable lectures even after paying an acceptance fees #62k, i withdrawn and stoped coming to sch. I did crazy things just bc of med and now God has finally done it for me Congratulations bro Pls I have a friend who just finished biochemistry with a 2:1 and he intends to pursue mbbs via direct entry route . He is considering unijos. Pls would you advice that he go ahead and apply unijos. He doesn't know how transparent unijos admission process is Thank you sir Would be anticipating your response |

Dedekc:Good morning bro. All right, basically; the thing is i will make an enquiries from my classmate who got in via same route as his. here in UNIJOS, they do accept that but i don`t really know much about the criterials because coupled with the fact that my admission process is a bit different. I got mbbs via Advanced level programme (IJMB) |

Happy Sunday everyone. I have a sister that wrote Jamb this year and applied for medicine in UNICAL. So, can anyone in UNICAL give me tips on how she can ace her post utme once. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by SF123(m): 1:36pm On May 13 |
Dedekc:Greetings brother. In regards to the enquiry i made; i have been getting a negative response from three individuals that is in my dept. They said that the 2.1 is too low for mbbs at unijos but they said it is under probability that the person concerned should apply and consider writting UTME again so as not to loose all the egg in one basket. |

Saviourk: NATURE OF UNICAL POST UTME UNICAL POST-UTME comprises of (40) questions. 15 from English Language, 5 from Current affairs, 5 from Mathematics And 5 Questions from EACH of the (3) SUBJECTS candidates took in their JAMB......That is, a total of (40) questions from (6) subjects. Medical candidates are to write the following subjects in UNICAL Post UTME ~ English Language ~ Mathematics ~ Physics ~ Chemistry ~ Biology ~ Current affairs . Please note that each UNICAL POST-UTME question carries (10 marks) and the time allocated to answer all 40 questions is (40 minutes), you have just "a minute" to answer each question. WHAT ABOUT UNICAL POST-UTME RESULT? Your result will come out latest, 2 days after you finish your exam while some times its released the next day (it all depends on some hidden factors) To check your result, you will need to get a result checker PIN. ADMISSION PROBABILITY= POST-UTME SCORE + JAMB SCORE/2 The result of the above formula is called the Average score. Your average score is what will determine whether you merit the admission or not based on Medicine Departmental cut off mark. If You Have Any Questions Feel Free To Ask 2 Likes |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by NL1960: 9:08am On May 14 |
chiunlimited: I want to believe that this "POST-UTME SCORE + JAMB SCORE/2" should be "(POST-UTME SCORE + JAMB SCORE)/2" based on the fact that JAMB is total of 400 marks and the POST-UTME SCORE is total of 400 marks. 2 Likes |

My part 1 MB results are out. I'm to resit anatomy and physiology, I can't believe my eyes truly. More than 50% of my department failed physiology. How is this even possible but nobody wants to take up the case with school management. I feel my medical dreams are already over. |

Pastorjohn2: Is not over yet |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Dawson126: 1:47pm On May 25 |
Pastorjohn2: It not over yet and giving up wouldn't solve anything, instead the energy and passion should be channeled into smashing the resits. When the only option is progress, the only way becomes forward then failure turns to stepping stone. In my class of about 60 students, just 7 passed anatomy. 5 were on the pass list and the remaining 2 had issues because their scores were wrongly collated as they passed, in fact one of them should have had the highest score. Others now are strategizing on passing the resits (+ other subject(s) as affected). It's just one of those things in medical schools. Please let your only way be forward. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by RuyiMedicDiary: 4:47pm On May 25 |
Pastorjohn2: Please don't despair. This is not the time for that. Channel that emotion into strategizing for the resits. Sorry I'm not a motivational speaker so I can only give you practical tips to handle this. Divide the number of topics by the number of weeks/months you have to prepare for the resits. Practice lots of questions, pray and do lots of group discussions with those resitting too. I wish you all the very best. N/B: This is coming from someone who has repeated so many times in life. 3 Likes |
