Dear all, I am planning to travel from Lagos to Delta State (Effurun) with my 2008 Range Rover HSE (aka Vogue). I have had the car for about six months without doing any long distance trip with it. Please if you have traveled long distance in Nigeria with a Range Rover, please kindly share your experience here.
It would be nice to know how you fared under some of the following areas: Reliability, ride comfort, police/customs disturbance, wear and tear, fuel consumption (did you need to refuel, etc.?), tyres, security and condition of road itself. I need to know what to watch out for and how to prepare...lessons learned from you. Start by telling us the model and year of your Range. Please anything you can share will help.
