Some of my observations about the EARLY CHURCH and the MODERN CHURCH

The EARLY CHURCH, men saw their life styles and called them CHRISTIANS but the MODERN CHURCH perhaps through our carrying of bible men will assume we are CHRISTIANS because there is no correlation between our lives and the Christian faith.

THE EARLY CHURCH according to the scriptures shared everything they had in common but THE MODERN CHURCH it's all about to your tent o ye Israel

THE EARLY CHURCH appoints men who are full of faith and Holy spirit into position of authority but the MODERN CHURCH appoints men who are full of cash and influence into position of authority.

THE EARLY CHURCH message is all about reconciling men back to God via the gospel of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ while the MODERN CHURCH message is all about come to my church.

The EARLY CHURCH influenced the world but this days, THE MODERN CHURCH is being influenced by the world.

We pray this day that the Lord will rekindle the fire and revival as of old in the church of today so that the church will be a guide to the nations again in Jesus name, amen.

Well...lemme summarize it in just few words...The early church is basically Catholic,then later Anglican...If u don't go any of these churches,there's 89% chance you are attending the Modern church where the oga general cruises on ova 4 privates jets and feeds on the gullible followers.

The early church was full of love they “had all things in common” and there were zeal for God. Today's church seems to have lost that “first love” that the early church had that first love, that zeal for God, and that evangelistic fever has faded somewhat today

The early had God’s Word in the form of the apostles teaching.

Today's church have new testament.

The early church was much more evangelistic than the church is today. They did not tolerate open and unrepentant sinning as some churches do today.

There are too many divisions and man-made doctrinal obstacles placed before believers, such as requirements to be saved works:

Abi o.. buh dat doesn't mean u won't go to church.. it's a necessity for spiritual growth.. dats for those who really want to attain such growth

You know moralty is gradually becoming a thing of past nowadays churches had indulge the act of immorality in congregation

I was in *****(church) sometimes back,a lady wore see through ,can you imagine? A see through in church,so after the service I asked the bro that invited me to the church that why would they allow that

He said,in due time,she'd change. That its a gradual process instead of them to condemn the act

If you see a lady or guy putting on moral clothe,he'd be mocked that he's/shes of old skul , moralty has become a thing of old skul. Am just wondering what/how next generation would be

I think the driving factor for the obvious deviation from true Christian practice is greed and unquenchable thirst for wealth and affluence.

I was privileged to interview one of Nigeria's most respected cleric, his response to my question on what precipitated the misplaced aggression in today's churches was vaguely misleading.

He cited certain scriptures to aver that God's intention for Christians is to prosper and live in abundance. He practically made it clear, although indirectly, that poverty is a sign of the absence of God in a man's life.

The conundrum and perhaps, the unanswered question is, what is the rich church doing about improving the life of the poor in their midst.

Good life is fabulous, no doubt. But the truth is there is little or no justification to regard some acclaimed clerics as true shepherds. They are very self centered and extremely callous, especially to the less affluent.

The early church practiced true christainity. The modern church is mixed with deception.

That is why there is so much sin in the Church and lack of power in most places. There's so much unbelief. The average christian cannot even believe God can perform miracles through them.

The bible even records in Acts 5, that because of what the apostles did, people were filled with fear and no outsider dared to join them.

But today what do we have? so many people by their acts blaspheming God's name. God said in Romans 2:24 " Because of you My Name is blasphemed among the gentiles".

The early church stil remains better than the modern church. Too much offering ang sowing of seed is the order of the day in the modern church

Regardless of whether we like it or not, time must still be respected!

You can't expect to do 8BC things in 2015, even if U did it , people in the society will condemn any act not supporting the current act..

In other words, we just have to be appreciative of the time we in, incorporate little changes into our methods but the fundamental principles shouldn't be altered.

For example If I was in a church with gays, would I walk out on the church and curse the church?

NO! I came to serve God not man.
