I am writing this in anger as i do not have another means of expressing my frustration at MTN NIGERIA. Forgive my grammatical blunders.

Rewind to sometime last year ending, MTN removed my N50 saying i subscribed for Sky Sport, something i know very well i did not, i don't even watch ball. I kept quiet and unsubscribed from the service. A week after that happened again and another N50 was deducted for the same service i had earlier unsubscribed from, i tried reaching a customer care agent but could not and so i quietly unsubscribed again. Now, that is N100 stolen from me for nothing.

Fast forward to early this year. I bought 30MB one day data because i wanted to use it to subscribe for SME Datashare bundle. After exhausting the 30MB, i unsubscribed from autorenewal. But to my surprise MTN still removed my money the next day. I had to unsubscribe again before it worked.

And today, out of the blues, MTN sends me a text saying i have successfully subscribed for 30MB one day plan. I have about 430MB Sme Data, and so i did not. I have tried reaching a customer care agent to pour my anger on who ever gets unlucky today but it's not working.

My friends have been complaining about the same issue that MTN subscribed them without their consent but i did not believe until now.

MTN is deliberately subscribing its customers to services and removing their money without customer's consent and i say it's STEALING. They steal little by little from each customer which runs into millions daily.

The annoying thing is that they make sure their unsubscribe button does not work most times. Thereby STEALING over and over again.

I believe some of us here have similar experiences, abeg share it jare, this guys are using our money to pay their staffs. STOLEN MONEY. MTN MMM

mtn will first charge ur bonus while u have data subscription forcing to be left with ur main account balance. What is the essence of the bonus?

Why should a simcard that is not registered accept a recharge pin(glo)? NCC?

I have been having pop-ups from MTN Services. I got pissed off today and decided to disable it using the Settings -> Apps route. I have an android so it is much easier. Well I havent had a pop-up again. My advice to anyone having this problem. Disable the frigging MTN services app.
