Try and own up and your iniquity shall be clean as snow, that must be your real age, but because of prevailing circumstance, you have just decided to change it.

Had same error on my cert they jacked my dob by 4 years. All i did was a court affidavit stating that the dob on the result is wrong making reference to the my birth ceriticate.

This guy has said it,swear a special afidavit for the waec result.

It can actually be changed but it’ll cost you some few documents
1)10,000 to be payed in bank
2)your original and photocopies of your birth certificate
3) Affidavit from court with receipt
4) 2 recent passport

Mine had the same issue, what you should do is, go get an affidavit and attach it you your waec cert. When ever you are presenting your waec cert, present it alongside the affidavit. With that you are good.

Waec certificate is as useless as tissue paper especially when age is not at ur side...
U will just be gazing at it heplesss even to the point of thinking of writing another.

Sure you can, I did this but they lost my original birth certificate. I couldn’t do anything! Too bad until date I didn’t get the BC. When I called their head office where it was sent to, the man who picked the call told me to go pray about it that there’s nothing they can do! I just didn’t call them again.

Sorry, I want to ask, can I edit the names on my waec? I have three names there, whereas I have only two names in all my credentials. Is there a way I can reduce the names on my waec to just two names?

Even me I have a similar problem.
My correct date of birth is 12th March 1990.
But on my original WASSCE cert, it was reduced to 12th March 1994.
They just removed 4 precious years from my age, I want to correct this.

I had same problem in my GCE result. I was told to present a police report, affidavit from court, present my birth certificate (not age declaration o), photo copies of original registration forms, copy of passport photo graph as on the registration form (if still available), a fee of 25,000naira. Your submitted documents will then be sent to Abuja for verification and further actions which may take 60years to conclude......my dear it's a very very long and tiring process. Luckily I did not need it desperately, I just wanted it for keep, I already had my complete result in WAEC.

How did u get ur GCE result? I wrote mine since 2011, but have not gotten. I wish to get the result, and how much did u pay for the collection of the result?

it's not always easy shaa and it takes time but thank God my situation made me to learn the easier way.
if it's just date of birth, then u will have to pay about 20k and get it corrected in two days in Lagos.
for name, I don't think it's possible.

Go for court age declaration and attach it to the WAEC result whenever you are presenting it.

It can be corrected but it takes alot of time which is not worth it.
I had same issue with my date,month and year. So I took it to WAEC head office in 2009. Could you believe I got it in 2017 plus the rigourous travelling to my sec school then to get a photo book because they will have to issue a new certificate. Although the photo also delayed it too because all these while I was only checking if my cert was ready without knowing i need to get my photo book. So I got the photo book in 2015 and in 2017,my Cert. Was ready.
I would advice you to make and laminate a coloured photocopy of your WAEC certificate and a sworn affidavit incase you insist on correcting it.
But for me,it's not worth the stress because your birth certificate covers it.

Go to court or ministry of Justice to do affidavit ,here is just 600 naira to 1000 naira
