Dear Nairalanders, I first want to apologise if this is not the right section to post this. Just that I don't know the right section to post it.
It happened that a friend of mine wanted to pay for his school fees (ONDO STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY), And the payment is to be made via remita.net so he decided to use my Polaris bank MasterCard. Upon initiation of the transaction, it was deemed unsuccessful but I was debited (#35,415.00) by polaris bank.
After this I mailed remita.net and they replied that the transaction failed card processing, that I should request for a reversal from my bank. When I mailed Polaris bank they asked that I wait for 7-10 working days while they work on it. After 10 working days they mailed me that the transaction was successful on their path and I should contact remita.net for my receipt.
I have agained mailed remita.net providing the RRR, and they are insisting that it failed card processing even to the extent that they provided my card number, and they said I should contact polaris bank.
I mailed polaris bank and provided a screenshot of the reply from remita.net, but again after 10 working days they insisted that the transaction was successful. I mailed remita.net again with a screenshot of the response of Polaris bank, but they are also insisting that it failed card processing. I went to a polaris bank branch and the person attending to me even showed me the complaint they logged to remita.net showing me that the case has been closed on their path.

This is how both parties have been tossing back and forth with my money still hanging in the air. Its been more than a month bow and no solution. Ease nairalanders what do I do from here. Below are screenshots of my conversation with both parties. Please help me.

Polaris bank is a deposit and withdrawal bank. they don't have the modern facilities to perform any other transactions. I wired money from first bank to Polaris, to my greatest surprise the money hung on air for days before hitting the account which cost my business a lot.

Back to your problem.
CBN is your answer. Lodge complaint to CBN and inform the both parties
