Online or Digital marketing is the component of marketing that makes use of internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.
This trend that evolved from the 1990s and 2000s has practically changed the way brands and businesses are carried with the use technology for marketing.
What do you consider before starting an online business?
• You must critically access the viability of your proposed business. The proposed business must be out to solve a problem. The bigger the problem you are out to solve and smarter and better you solve this problem will determine how much people will be willing to pay. Fabric business solves a physiological problem that is why people are willing to spend lots of money on it.
• You must have a target market and find out their problem and you look for a way to do it better. Create good business strategy before you start and also choose an online model that suits your skills and interest
• Know who your competitors are. Knowing your competitor by critically analyzing them helps you to be ahead of your carved niche. Identify successful tactics and new trends, and anticipate shifts in the market. It also helps define your messaging, positioning, and overall business. Follow your competitors on their social media and see how they operates.
