Thanks so much, in as much we are also considering exploring other countries such as Canada,it will also be of good for us to be sure that it doesn't affect my dependants.... What's your take on my ban , will it affect them , are they also banned?

Switch to Canada ASAP and declare both the ban and the refusals.

Just so you know. 1GBP = 1.7 CAD. Goodluck.

If you are baned from the UK, you will struggle to get a visa to the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. As they are all part of the FIVE EYES and they share immigration data.

Your ban did not affect your dependents.

Thanks so much,I read somewhere about the FIVE EYES but I don't want to complicate issue here ,I just want to be sure that my dependant wasn't affected by my ban.....

Relative to what?
In terms of proximity to African stores , whether and cost of living please, crime rate, good life generally as a JJC from Nigeria?

How about Dudley too?

Thank you.
I have an interview with a trust there and I believe I will get the offer.

But I got an offer in Dudley already.

Dudley is nice and affordable place. As for Nigeria/ African foodstuffs you’ll get it everywhere you see Asians and Birmingham has a big Asian population.

I will be coming to explore Manchester tomorrow. Who is in the city for a tour around?

Hello house, kindly recommend a place in England for a family weekend getaway, with good sight seeing, accommodation and all other attractions; at "affordable" price tag.

Thank you

It depends on where you live, how far you’re willing to travel, your budget and what you think may interest your family. I’ve only been here 1yr so I’m still a jjc.
I’ve only done a couple of getaways.

Manchester - I do pay abt 250 quids for 3 nights in a cosy 2bedroom apartment on Airbnb.
On my last getaway to Manchester, we visited Legoland discovery and sea life at trafford centre on day 1…142pounds covered both packages for a family of 5. Few pennies on food, photo shoot and extra experiences not included in the package.
Visited Salford quays on day 2. 42 pounds for 5 of us. not as fun as I expected it to be.
Visited Labuka African restaurant to grab some lunch and we visited the popular Smithfield wholesale market on our last day.

Lake District( Keswick)-Nice summer holiday. We rented a caravan for 100 pounds a night. Nice water views. Windermere boat cruise. walking with nice sea views. Kids rode their Bicycles and scooters. I walked a total of 16 miles in 3 days.

Edinburgh- Very nice place. We Only visited Edinburgh Castle. Didn’t have much time to explore as we only visited Edinburgh for something else and just decided to stay back for an extra night.
Visiting London next. No specific area in mind. I’ll appreciate any suggestion.

Bromley ticks all your enumerated criteria.

This is becoming really rampant now and in addition to what others have provided, i will advise applying for administrative review to Home office at least to raise the ban (if successful). Unless you were also aware it was a fake COS that you used.

They (home office) also need to create a system to verify COS reference numbers for future application.

Thank you to the people that are abusing the system and making it more difficult to genuine applicants by day.

Love the conversations going on in the past few pages without any drama grin .

With the current state of NHS, please if you can afford private health care, do it for yourself and family.

We have been on the waiting list for a tonsillectomy for our baby for weeks now and apparently we have 1 more year to go.

There is just no way to fast track, despite the urgency of his situation 😕 😢

That's not necessarily the only circumstance in which a review would not be viable.

Even if you didn't know the COS was fake, but you got it by paying someone or similar means, there won't be a case.

The burden the OP will have is to show that they legitimately applied for an advertised job, sent in their credentials, did an interview, got an offer, did pre-employment checks etc. before being issued the COS. It would be very easy for OP to prove if they did apply legitimately because there'd be an email trail.

This, right here is the Giant Elephant in the room.

I thought I was the only one wondering why the OP was not raining brimstone and sulfur on the issuer of the fake CoS.
Probably because the process of acquiring the (fake) CoS get kurukere movement?

You have raised important points, which also applies to those who use agents or solicitors for their applications.

Always double check the information that is filled in and all the evidence that is uploaded with your application. Do not trust a 3rd party to submit it on your behalf without verifying.

As far as the Home Office is concerned, if information or evidence is found to be false, the owner of the application is responsible - they do not care if it was done by an agent or barrister.

There are unscrupulous and irresponsible agents and lawyers looking to prey on people's desperation/naivete especially with the tougher rules. Some may advise submitting frivolous and unfounded applications and may fill in false information in an attempt to boost your chances. Always DYOR and ASK QUESTIONS because the applicant will be the one to bear the consequences.

I think it was fairly obvious to most, but as the OP has already received the maximum punishment for their actions, probably no use in labouring the point in their case.

Hopefully on reading the OPs account, others that may have been inclined to follow the same route will now course correct.

There are increasing stories of legitimate websites being cloned and people (in the UK even) being tricked into thinking they were acquiring the CoS from a reputable company...but as you've called out - the elephant is that a reputable company would never ask for payment (£000s) for CoS and it should be an instant red flag to anyone who isn't doing kukere.

My work has made me visit the hospital quite a number of times now. My conclusion is
1. If your spouse Dey work for NHS, you suppose Dey buy ice cream for her everyday (the work there na work)

2. even emergency unit, the queues and wait time na die. Except you actually fall down and act dying. ( I saw someone do this) and it worked for him

Thanks for your advice although I don't believe that someone will deliberately submit applications with false COS anyway we have put in Admistrave Review, hopefully it's successful but mean time I just want to be sure that it doesn't affect my dependants, husband and two kids.

How did my daughter get her visa with letter of consent?
Remember on the other thread , you guys said I shouldn’t waste my time?
Did I do anything different from others ?

giselle237:
sometimes you people just argue without recourse to what is happening in real life. Goodluck with your signed legal letter of consent that suffices. Go and also cancel all the refusals UKVI has given out and tell them the signed letter of consent is enough.

Hope you submitted the job advert, your invite for the interview, the offer letter and every single document that would proof that the issued COS was on merit and not bought. I wish you a very successful outcome.
