Nairalanders, please Tag Me With Tinubu's Performance. He took Harsh Decisions. by Putinofrussia: 12:20pm On Feb 14
Please, continue to tag me for Tinubu's performance because I supported him.
He has taken harsh decisions which would make Nigeria better in the long run but the pain is almost unbearable.

I believe in the 2 most important steps/policies affecting all Nigerians now.

Just a few more days and we will all begin to smile.
I believe that President Tinubu will get it right with these harsh but good policies.
My fear is that he should not reverse them because we have already and still going through its pains.
In a little while, all Nigerians including you, will triumph.
The Omniscient is always Triumphant.

It will only get worse because ur president is not doing anything right....the president packed the money he saved from subsidy into the hands of level 2 thieves( state governors )....

.. It's like he doesn't know how this nation works...

U pple just think removing subsidy from oil and exchange rate will just automatically fix the nation ...

.bunch of clowns......subsidy must be paid else where to encourage local manufacturing....the money saved from one side u just embezzled it else where.......it's zero effect....

IMF said he has reversed subsidy removal already. How about that?

May Tinubu be your portion in every thing you do.

I say amen to that. May Nigeria's "subsidize everything and impoverish everyone" leadership outlook and strategy be your portion in everything you do.

Meanwhile, conversely, Countries that reject that lazy and dubious economic strategy have delivered developed nations for their citizens who earn living wages, are able to buy homes, purchase cars and, year after year, continue to the be able to afford school fees and training that produces the best solutions-provider kids in the world who will then be the Engineers to help us build roads, Eko Atlantic, Fourth mainland, second Niger Bridge etc.

You people , because you lack exposure or are deliberately being mischievous, speak as if you are literally at kindergarten level of understanding life and what it means.

In developed nations worldwide, adults in Germany, USA, Canada etal can say they are living and not just surviving as is the case for most Nigerians.

The average Nigeria adult of 40 is a beggarly and undignified individual in comparison to a UK 17 or French year old and this is because of the governance system in both nations.

You myopic elements should keep speaking for the retention of the system in place before Tinubu merely because "e bi pa yin".

Soon that system, if not binned, will turn Nigeria to Somalia. Some of you forget it is not Tinubu that made 87% of Northerners the most poverty-stricken in Nigeria and the people with some of the worst human development index in the world.

It is the " give a man a fish" leadership system that has caused that while Tinubu wants to repeal that system to provide one that "teaches a man to fish". The very same system.the West has used to create developed nations.

Bro, see my response to another poster above. Part of the problem is that Nigerians do not realize that, in comparison to others, their leaders have impoverished and underdeveloped them to the extent they are mainly all beggarly adults who are like helpless baby birds waiting for their mother to bring food.

We need to transition away from a society where people are crudely addicted to cheap petrol to run vehicles, since transport options are poor and limited, and fuel their generator for electricity.

This is what Tinubu wants to achieve. I.e deliver genuine 'root causes' solutions to perennially debilitating national problems and not just keep given Nigerians subsidized cheap petrol, electricity etal which any economists will tell you is not good for Nigerians and Nigeria in the long run and indeed what has Gotten us where we are today.

We are in a catch 22 situation with subsidies because it means government can then keep Nigerians so poor and needy to the extent downwards is the only way we can go.

We have no appreciable manufacturing, SME , science and tech, research and innovation sector or vibrantly diversified economy because of this very dubious strategy of subsidising everything.

If we keep using Nigeria's income to subsidize their lives then poverty and stagnation are the only results we will ever derive from that due to the fact we have created a nation where people are addicted to poverty and lives so poor and unproductive, they barely think beyond chasing what will go into their stomach.

Below are helpless baby birds waiting for food. How is it a good or supportable thing that Nigerian leaders have reduced Nigerians to same level? At least baby birds are helpless and cannot search for food.

Despicable when adult Nigerians are put in same position with leaders after leaders sustaining the system that has reduced Nigerians to that.

It is only Tinubu who has been brave enough, of all leaders since 1999, to initiate reforms that can transform thing for the better and for good.

I agree reforms are painful and appear punitive but focus should be on urging government to do more amelioration the sufferings of Nigerians but we must stick to the reform to shame those who want poor Nigerians to forever be under the yoke of servitude to those in political offices and the bigots hounding Tinubu to step down after 9 months because their "yes daddy" messiah lost.

Nzogbu Nzogbu kind of approach that you are canvassing for will just make things worse in the long term as it has always done to the people.
Tinubu is building a sustainable growth trajectory for the nation but the beginning will be painful as it is now for everybody but there is joy very soon.

Have you ever seen any govt remove subsidy and insist on staying on its decision even with 3 NLC strikes while knowing that the effect is devastating to the masses albeit for a not too long period?

Nigeria has been borrowing money to pay subsidy which some gullible past rulers and their cohorts have been feeding fat on while Nigeria sinks.
My question is what do you think those subsidy thieves will do?

Secondly, humongous billion of dollars were being borrowed again to defend the naira.More than $20 billion dollars was reported to have been used within a period.
Now,should we continue like this with no growth?

All former Nigeria govts have been doing almost the same cosmetic things to deceive Nigerians while Nigeria sinks.
Somebody was saying that we had too much money and didn't know what to do with it that Obasanjo used humongous money to bring all the demons of Africa to Nigeria during FESTAC.

One very important point is that all the govts I have witnessed, their beginnings have never been this hard but their ends have been disastrous.
Obasanjo,Jonathan,Buhari, all of them have had good cosmetic beginnings but bad endings.

This govt is the only govt that its commencement has been so tough and hard that people have continually complained.
Yes,things are hard now but it will ease off within a year or so.

We cannot continue with the fake life of defending the naira while Nigeria goes down or paying subsidy on a bloated trajectory of 62 million barrels per day which every sensible persons even Northerners that are the main beneficiaries, have come on the tv to say that it is all a big scam.

You can bookmark this drivelling of mine.
Tinubu will be the best President Nigeria will ever have.
The end will be of great joy even if the beginning is painful now.
No pain,no gain.

I know this but the pain is excruciating.
I pray everyone has the capabilities to bear it out and laugh joyously at the end, soonest.

There is nothing sustainable about what tinubu is doing..... Removing subsidy without channeling the money properly will not amount to anything..... And giving the money to governors who are thieves is the first wrong move ....
Go to United states..they pay subsidy in the supply chain of producers of corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, and rice..... This is how u promote local manufacturing.....

U pple thing exchange rate will fix itself by floating it....go and ask Zimbabwe....

I so much believe he will get it right.
My intuition mostly never fails me).
