This catastrophe happened less than 1 hour after I passed that location. The portion of East/West road is something else especially from Alode bridge to trailer park.

Thank God for you

That road is a death trap to motorists. With all the investment within that axis , federal government is not doing anything meaningful to fix it
Don't they have state governor, when you know the important of road as a governor you don't need to wait for call from Abuja before doing the needful. RIP 😭😭😭

Let me clarify something here.

Whenever you hear many feared dead, it means while the petrol tanker was burning, people were looking instead of running to a safe place. Then it got intense and exploded, and they all got caught in the inferno.

I remember when I was doing my IT, I saw a petrol tanker burning at the top in a fueling station. I saw crowd filled with people watching from all angles at a close range. I had to tell one woman who was with her child to run for her life, that if this tank explodes, she's dead. She took my advice and moved away from the scene.

Many people like putting themselves in dangers. That's why I don't follow multitudes or do things with them.

Please safety first.

Can you pls explain what happened on Otedola bridge around 2018, when a fuel tanker exploded and burnt hundreds of ppl in traffic jam?
Were they looking and watching also?

Are you sure this was not during a traffic jam?

So, what should we do with this mumu information?

You can point at his moniker but you can't point at one school or IPP Obi built from start to finish. grin
Na that Omokri fit una wella.

Every governor has what he did while in office. Fools won't talk about his achievements but focus on what he didn't do.

Ask Reno the infrastructures he brought to his community as an aide to the president.

This is one of the main reason we kept complaining about our curriculum in school.
Many people don't even known what to do in any event of accidents, some will be screaming, others looking, some stealing or watching. But to help save life and property, they won't.

Instead of fixing this already existing East-West road they started a fresh one called Coastal road that will link exactly same States linked by this road.

The fools are those supporting a notorious failure because he's from their tribe.
Obiano built an airport and the Anambra ICC. Those are examples of legacy projects.
What was Obi's legacy project in Anambra?

Tell me Reno and Tinubu lagacy projects.
Let it fall within the time they were in office.

So many avoidable incidents happening in this country.
How can we be so intelligent but not using our intelligence to better our society.

Exactly this time yesterday in the night, I saw a tanker moving slowly and what my mind told me was, what if this tanker explodes right now. It was a weird thought and I can't figure out why I thought like that.

It's a happy weekend for the haters of Nigeria. You got a kind of news you always wanted to hear under this government but one of you have probably died in the incident. So shut-the-hell-up or pray for good news or invite calamity that doesn't know you and consume everyone.
RIP to the victims. God bless Nigeria

Very bad, if not for the bad road that is causing traffic life and property won't have been lost the way it was lost yesterday, may the good lord comfort the family of the departed souls.

It was during a TRAFFIC JAM and to make matters worse it was on a SLOPPY SECTION of the road.
Burning fuel was just flowing down the road consuming lives and Cars.
