The Honourable Minister of State for Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande, visited the Batch ‘A’ Stream 2 corps members currently undergoing their 3-week Orientation Course at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Iseyin, Oyo State.

The minister, who displayed his youthfulness by joining the corps members in press-up exercises, advised them to take every activity seriously during their 3 weeks of orientation course, especially the SAED (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) program.

The minister visited the tents of the various skill acquisition trainers in the company of the state coordinator, Mr. Adoba Abel Oche, and the ADS SAED, Mrs. Janet Okolie, who is currently the camp director. Hon. Ayodele Olawande pledged startup capital and support for every 2 corps members that emerged as the best from each skill set, as he moved from tent to tent of the SAED trainers.

The minister, warmly received and welcomed by the corps members, donated 1.5 million naira and a big cow to all the 10 platoons and congratulated them on their swearing-in ceremony.

The minister also commended all the camp officials for a job well done.
