JAMB, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has released the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of over 1.94 million candidates who participated across 118 towns and over 700 examination centers nationwide.

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) began on Friday, 19th April ended on Monday, 29th April 2024.

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.

He said a total of 1,989,668 candidates registered for the examination, representing 24.7 per cent higher than the figure for the year 2023.

Candidates can easily check their overall Jamb score using the phone number they used to register for the examination.

Those using this process are urged to send an SMS with the phone number used to register your JAMB 55019 or 66019 to see their results.

The candidates are urged to ensure that they have a minimum airtime balance of N50 and then type ‘UTME RESULT‘ or ‘UTMERESULT‘ and send to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number.
