15pts lead into the second half.

Let's see how Nugget starts the 3rd.
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 3:50am On May 11
Malone is using his bench more today.
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 4:15am On May 11
Nuggets finally getting into their offence groove. Crisp passing and movement.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:15am On May 11
Once Aaron Gordon turns into prime Game 6 Klay you know it's probably not your night

72-50
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 4:17am On May 11
Wolves leaving Gordon open to shot 3s back to back to back

Nugget defense has been decent this game compared to the previous 2 games and Wolves are not getting the juice from 3s as they did in the first 2 games.
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 4:28am On May 11
This game is gone. Nugget not allowing Wolves to go on any run to gather momentum.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:35am On May 11
Belt to ass. Nuggets really needed this. Now I know they've not let go of the rope.

Now suddenly the Timberwolves are under pressure going into game 4.

You don't want to go back to Denver with the series tied against a team no longer scared of you
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 4:39am On May 11
This game is done. Wolves should rest their starters for game 4.

27pts lead is a lot.
Re: The NBA Begins by Tinneh: 8:26am On May 11
NBA DPOY got only 4 rebounds all game,
Just wow!!!

The Nuggets are winning this series. The wolves will be lucky to win another game this series(even this will rely on their players taking more shots). Two reasons why

1) They have bought into their own hype. They had 4 four days to let the praise they've gotten simmer and get into their head. They were outrebounded, out fought, out thought and out hustled. The Defending champs have seized the momentum and are not letting go. They have figured them out. They have by far the Best player in the series and Malone is 2 Leagues above Finch.

2) The playoff ticky tacky foul they got away with in the last game were being called this game. Once I saw Murray wasn't suspended for one game, I knew the league won't let them get away with ticky tacky fouls the rest of the series.

If Wolves win game 3, it's a wrap.

Momentum has swung. It's a wrap for the wolves now. Best Player by a mile in the series and Better coach by a fair bit too.

That 2nd point is true. All those jam body defense they were playing and getting away with in game 2. Even at that Wolves 5 more free throws than Nugget.

If the Nugget play the same way they did last night and shoots comparably, they will win game 4 and it's a toss up from there.

But this series is far from over, lets see how Wolves react tomorrow. I doubt Gober will have 4 boards tomorrow.

@A40, don’t forget to keep up with the NHL playoffs. This year’s is quite intriguing!

There is no toss up here. The Nuggets are winning the series. I'm not sure how much yiu saw of the wolves during the Regular season but their 17th rated offense is terrible. The sum aggregate of their offense over the last 2 seasons puts them in the bottom 10. The Nuggets have gotten their two worst performances of the post season out of the way whilst the wolves won't play any better than they have the first two games.

They have massively out performed their regular season offense thus far but are slowly but surely regressing to the mean. Their only hope is Ant and KAT going supersaiyan whilst simultaneously hoping Jokic and Murray don't as the core of KCP,Gordon and MPJ is better than Conley, Mcdaniels and Gobert.

They sure better hope that's the case with Gobert as you can't be giving nothing on the offensive end whilst also having subpar defensive games.

Any Denver win is dependent on Murray. Murray is not fully fit so he just might disappoint in a game or 2.

I saw Edwards clutching His right shoulder at the beginning of the game and was doing likewise throughout the game. No one is fully fit come playoffs time. Also Denver has the Best player,Best team and Best coach this series. Barring Supersaiyan efforts from Ant and Kat, asking their 17th rated offense to carry the load will be too much.

It's been electric. I watched Panthers and Bruins Game 2 and they spent more time fighting than playing actual hockey grin

That's the real tough guy sport.

I had my eyes on the Hurricanes coming out the East especially after adding my boy Guentzel but it seems they don't matchup well with the Rangers at all. Disappointing

My pick to win the whole thing are the Avalanche. I expect MVP in waiting McKinnon to lead them to another cup

Where was this talk when they went down 2-0? Don't rule Wolves out yet. This Murray you see now will disappoint yet again.

Nuggets shot 27% from the field in game 2, I doubt that will repeat itself again in this series.

Before the series started, almost everyone had the Nuggets winning not because we thought they are a bad team but because we could not see any clear advantage they had.

Playoff Riser Jamal Murray? His playoffs performances over the last few years should have already made it clear He is by far the Best Robin in the league. Infact at this point we might as well call Him Co-Batman.

Just check to reconfirm and it was 34.7% not 27%.

I can't go there with you just yet. However what I do know for sure is they have shown me that they ain't quit and they still believe they can do this and that's always the first step. Things have a way of falling in place when you believe it can be done

What I would say is that these last two games have been very much an aberration. Game 1 is much closer to what this series is supposed to be

Aaron Gordon will not hit 3 straight 3s in a quarter again I can safely say that.

However the way the media and almost everyone went overboard about what the Timberwolves are and I found it a bit bizarre. I've come to understand some of this hyperbole is necessary for ratings but the Nuggets are not as bad nor the Wolves as good as the first two games painted.

Game 2 was a weird game in that the Wolves were allowed to get away with prison ball and Denver were not allowed to match the physicality. I for one have found the officiating in these playoffs rather bizarre, they tried correcting in Game 3 as well but why do that when you can just be consistent across board. What you call foul for one team call for the other team so nobody gets to throw tantrums

At the end of the day I keep saying it. Jamal Murray is the ultimate X-factor. Forget Jokic, this team goes as far as Jamal Murray goes. If Jamal goes band for band with Antman they will come back and win this series. Simple and short

Nah bro this dudes have gotten their two bad games out of the way already so it's only up from here. Gordon might not but with his experience, I expect him, MPJ and KCP to outplay their Wolves counterparts.

If Murray goes band for band with Ant, the wolves might as well not show up for the remainder of the Series. I called Jamal a Co- Batman not a Robin earlier and that point still stands. Jokic and the role players will absolutely dominate KAT and the role players around him.

Nuggets needs a consistent 2nd option not this Jekyll and Hyde performance Jamal is dropping.
If Jamal was bringing it every night Nuggets would be favourites to advance in this series.
They have the best player in the league, who's unselfish and a great passer. Jokic needs to play with an All Star/NBA talent.
Jamal isn't that guy, he's way too inconsistent

I'm sorry but you don't know what you're talking about. That one is bleeding obvious

The year the Nuggets won the title Jamal was the best player in the Timberwolves and Lakers series, He had a double double in the Final too 20+pts and 10 asts

This year he won two games in the first round at the death.

Name me a second option that has done that.

Even Jokic has not brought it every night so I don't know why you're setting unrealistic standards for just Murray

Small assignment I will give you now. Explain why Jokic got swept by Booker and CP3. Without Murray

Name the second options better than Murray, show me their postseason resume and explain why they have not won anything where they are presently

The Nuggets have not earned my trust just yet. Do I believe they can beat the TWolves? Absolutely. They're simply not as good as those first two games suggested. The issue is the Nuggets. How they will respond if push comes to shove. To the whistles, to the physicality

It's also critical that the bench guys show up. Braun and Jackson have to show some competency. That would open up the game for the others including Jokic
