Just bcuz u r scam by someone in a place doesn't mean everybody there are scammers. I think u get that
There are 30% scammers and 70% genuine seller there. Make sure the people you are dealing with have a good reputation I.e there feedback a.k.a comment from buyers and the d feedback rate of the seller is up to 95%
Then you are good to go...also remember to always chat with the seller before making transaction...I hope this help #cheers

In any business, there are scammers and there are real people. Aliexpress and Alibaba is not excluded. In order to be on a safe side on Aliexpress, always look for product with a lot of good positive feedback. The more positive, the better.

I wonder why people are afraid when you can request for refund of your money if the seller is not cooperating. The seller will even beg you to leave good feedback to boost their stores. A seller begged me to giv good feedback when i cancel order that was shipped on time.

your friend may be that type of people that just read a few line of a post on importation and he just go ahead and place order without asking question. There are question you need to ask any person that provide you with an online importion info and such question wil determine if such person is really into the bizness or not. 95% of pple here whom even cliamed that they are already importing from china are jorkers'.

ESCROW is like an intermediary between you(the buyer) and the supplier of the product you are buying. The money you pay for the product is with escrow and will only be released to the supplier after you confirm order received. Hope this is helpful?

I registered on aliexpress and was impressed, studied the site such as escrow, feedback on a seller, checked on if a seller is on diamond, crown category, checked on the delivery such as ems and dhl etc before trying to order anything. so to all newbies like me, i would encourage you to get familiar wit the site wit all the useful advice from the greats.

I will want to talk about sth based on my experience and some mails I have received.
Whenever, you want to order for anything on aliexpress, don't just look at the picture and place your orders based on nice or great the picture looks. Always read the product description which will tell you all about it.
For example, I got a mail from someone saying someone he knows ordered for jewellries from aliexpress for $7/set only to discover that it isn't real gold. Firstly, u can't expect to get real gold for that cheap. Also, if you check the description of the product, it will have said sth like 'gold plated' which means it isn't gold but is just painted gold. For evry product, they will write the kind of material it is made of so u shud do well to check before you order so u don't raise your expectations falsely.

Another example is when ordering for bags or belts, you may look at the picture and think it is real leather but if you check the product description, you will find out it is made of PU leather which isn't real leather but a synthetic form of leather so don't expect such to be as durable as real leather even though they are still very marketable. There are bags made of genuine leather and you will find it written in the product details and even in the title of the product that it is genuine leather.
This applies to different products. Just make sure you check everything about the product before you order so u know what you are expecting and you really know what price to sell them based on the quality.

You can also check aliexpress for the same information.
HINT: To get free shipping with DHL for the product, insert ‘DHL FREE SHIPPING PRODUCT NAME‘, in the search box, just replace product name with what you are searching and you are good to go. This works only for large quantity and is the same info people are selling in their ebooks.
