I'm trying to download videos to my PC from YouTube so I can watch later offline. I found a link to media converter but it's not working so I checked on here and found links to YouTube downloader but I need to download the soft ware. I'll like to know if it's safe(I don't have any serious anti virus) or if there is a better and faster option(free), I'm not a computer person at all, I'm a learner . Thanks for your help.

I've already posted an answer on this forum about the tool that I'm using when I download videos...it's called Torch browser. I used it when I was also a beginner and it really suited me. You can use it when you're on youtube, facebook and other sites that contain video files. All you have to do is press the "video" button, and Torch will download the video for you, it's that simple.

If you are afraid of downloading and installing the youtube downloader, then try using the youtube downloader plugin for mozilla from mozilla itself. Just download it and it will install as a plugin. Any time you are playing a youtube video on mozilla only, a download button will appear under the video frame and when you click on it, a drop down menu will appear that will let u choose the format and quality you want.
