Political Split In Nigeria , A Dangerous Move. by panafrican(m): 6:33pm On Jun 11, 2006
It looks like Obasanjo has not accepted the senate verdict about  this third term issue.
This  is a dangerous move.  Another  war or political instability in this country of more than 100 millions people , for the sake of one person willing to remain in office  will  be just a big  shame  not only for nigeria but for  africa as a whole.

Panafrican, Obasonja has accepted the fact that he is not getting a third term. The current problem that the PDP is facing is over who succeeds Obasonja. Obasonja wants one of the Governors with a proven track record, but this would mean skipping Atiku.

And by the way, are you Nigerian? Because any Nigerian should know this by now. undecided

The link you refer to is a dispute in the ranks of PDP, and has nothing to OBJ trying to continue in office. Let us give this man kudos instead of crucifying him, afterall, noone has come out to alledged that he is a corrupt leader. Like any human being, he has done his best.

<<After the king, the king himself.>> Everybody knows the game.Does Obasanjo has anything to hide ?
When your tenure ends you need to fade away overwise the split can start within the ruling party ,then reach the army or the remote countryside where high passion may lead to a big mess. Those who think that what happens in nigeria must only be discussed by nigerians only still live in the 18e century.
When Ojuku started what you know, millions of nigerians when abroad in other countries far way from nigerian borders,so keep this mind open.
