B. Sc. Electronics/Telecoms
5 years cognate experience

VAS ENGINEERS

DUTIES

Perform, operation, optimize and maintenance on VAS equipment in the GSM and UMTS Network, SMSC, VMS, WAPGW, MMSC, VB, CBS, CPX, DAM, SRP, MKS, VMB, VC, VT, VS, etc.


Perform Second/third level of fault investigation and neutralization.


Assure correct escalation of faults according to SLA.


Daily follow up on outstanding trouble tickets and planned events to assure high level o service.


Weekly network status report (TT and network availability rate).


Writing work orders for the Customers Engineers. Insure that correct migration and expansion principles and rules are implemented. Understand, optimize, realize and support the service design specifications written by Technical Project Managers.


Deliver weekly project status to LPM. Interface with internal and external technical interface for service realization.


Assure timely reporting of issues encountered surrounding projects and services.
