SaharaReporters has learnt that doctors in the UK discovered and surgically removed polyps from President Muhammadu Buhari’s nostrils during the president’s medical trip last June.

A source at the Presidency in Abuja told SaharaReporters that Mr. Buhari’s recurrent ear infection, earlier diagnosed by the president's physicians in Abuja, turned out to be polyps that were blocking his sinuses. The blockage caused pain in the president’s ear that prevented him from carrying out a few official functions before he went to the UK where he was properly diagnosed and treated.

Since returning from the treatment, President Buhari has been far more active. However, a medical doctor in Lagos told SaharaReporters that he observed that Mr. Buhari had significantly lost weight. When our correspondent discussed this issue with but several presidential aides, they insisted that the president was healthy and able to keep to a demanding schedule of activities. Even so, one of the aides disclosed that Mr. Buhari might soon take another vacation to get checked out before the year runs out.

President Buhari, who has travelled to New York City to attend the United Nations General Assembly, is expected to meet with President Barack Obama of the United States.

If they say he has significantly lost weight, they might not be far from the truth. When I saw Buhari at Ogbe Stadium during the grand finale of Obaseki's campaign, I knew that was not the Buhari I saw on November 12th 2014, during Oshiomole's 6yr anniversary. He has really lost weight.

Although, his weight loss might not be unconnected to the activities in Aso Rock. He's always busy and needs to always rest. I wish him well!

All the president's children study in the UK
He vacations in the UK
All his doctors are in the UK
He goes to treat his ear infections in the UK
He goes for his medical checkups in the UK
His wife wears 89 million naira Hermes bags and expensive jewelry shipped from overseas

But he tells his zombies in Nigeria that the economy is bad because Nigerians love foreign items. He tells them to "go back to the farm" for Nigeria's future is in agriculture... Subsistence farming, that is.
He tells them to buy Nigerian to grow the naira, as he jets off to have his polyps removed... In the UK.

A tale of a hypocrite, and his gullible, semi-literate worshippers.

You are right, the problem is not Buhari but the people who voted into office and are today clapping for the man's gaffes, blunders and misrule.

A typical case of chronic hypocrisy, nepotism mixed with some false patriotism.

Their main assets are outside Nigeria. And Nigeria is their place of works, that's why every 4 to 6 months, we'd read that they are on vacational trip very big "TO"hmm. Wherever they looted our monies to. Imagine, every elections youths and low lives touts and some elders in the villages and towns will sale their right to these people in the name of leaders or parties, with unthinkable, fake promises of "i will do this, i will do that when i come to power" and they clap wawawawa. After the election come what next?
