I watched this event live because I was genuinely thinking of upgrading to the iPhone X from my S8 but I'm not impressed.

The iPhone 8 should've been called the 7s. But they're playing catch up with the S8's model number.

I'm only impressed by the A11 processor, slayed the S8. Unfortunately I won't be rendering 3D content on my phone so that kind of performance isn't necessarily a plus (good for future proofing though)

FaceID really It's slower and less intuitive to use than TouchID

iPhone 8 - still the same 750p resolution as the iPhone 6. The first time i accidentally switched to 1080p from 2K on the S8, I thought my eyes had gone bad (the difference that noticeable between 1080P & 1440P, now imagine the difference between 750P and 1440P)

The A11 is too much hardware in 2017 but your contradiction is well seen with your approach on the 750p screen resolution on the iPhone, which first of all is only on iPhone 8 and second of all, FHD is too much hardware for a 4.7 inch phone.
