If you don't believe in the Bible, and in the words of the prophets and our Dear Lord Jesus, then we don't have a discussion because on the whole, nobody can explain the things you're asking not even science. Faith and logic don't agree and they will never.
For some of us, we've made peace with the fact that we may never fully understand after life. But we have one who has been there and has told us what happens in death and after death. This is what we believe and we believe it by FAITH, not by logic.
