The tax you pay is your civic responsibility to the state
The tithe you pay is your civic responsibility to the 'church' you attend

The state and the church have been separated. Otherwise, the church and the state is one and the same. So instead of paying once, you pay twice. So the church now functions as the state where conditions are better and things are better run, and the state suffers because the state is 'secular' and immoral, and therefore unholy.

So people carry their time and resources and energy to the 'church' that is holy and righteous and where their selflessness will be rewarded with heaven, abandoning the immoral state where there is no reward for service.

After the state taxes you, the church also taxes you, double taxation

This tithe that they are all eager to eat especially all these mushroom pentecostal churches was instituted by God to raise funds and welfare for less endowed members of the church/ society.

Not so for all these pentecostal churches, the tithes you pay is for pastor to grow richer and ride the best cars and jeeps completely; ignoring the real reason why tithing was instituted in the Bible.
