Even though he was born in Nigeria he lacked "Nigerianese" at birth. Someone who lacks"Nigerianese" is an American

If was taken immediately to America as a baby, he would have grown up to become what he was born with, an American, speaking the language effortlessly and acting true to his default birth


Unfortunately for him, he grew up in Nigeria where he was "indoctrinated" to be a Nigerian.

It's even possible that every baby in the world was born an American, but grew up in places where they became something else, Chinese, Indians, Nigerians, and so on

Babies can never be born atheist or anything else..The reason is very simple. A new born is yet to display the kind of brain activity needed to hold or lack any kind of believe.

Since I am being blamed for the being "born an atheist" statement, (I never knew Richard Dawkins had said the same thing), perhaps I should be more accurate.

My parents had no time for gods when I was born, apart from the intellectual study of Egyptian gods being done by my father who was fascinated by the fact that he had learnt about Yahweh and Allah back home and wondered why he had never been introduced to other Western gods.

I learnt about Yahweh and Allah and the fact that people believed in them and in their existence when I arrived in Nigeria at the age of 7. And to me it sounded no different to believing in Tom and Jerry's existence, which some did actually tell me they believed. I had learnt about Greek and Roman and English gods by then, and they were not taught as things to believe in or that had ever existed.

So, basically, I was born into an atheist family, and church on Sunday became an excuse to get out the house, though I do confess I often did not end up in the said church. Currently, everyone in my family believes in god.

90% of that you know in this life was thought out by several other people. What makes you an intelligent person is understanding.

You walked on your own but you didn't think it out on your own. You saw people walking as an infant and you learnt it.

You didn't think out how to make any meal on your own. You have prolly learnt from maybe your mom or anyone else.

About 95% of what you know, you got it from other people.
All the books you studied up till you graduated and till you'll die contain other people's knowledge.

That's why there is a difference between knowledge , wisdom and understanding.

That phrase didn't come to me from Hawkings. I had always known that babies are born atheists. Hawkings himself wasn't the first person to use that phrase. Baron d'Holbach had used it hundreds of years before Hawkings. Get your facts right before you destroy your OWN image on NL.

But that's by the way.
Even if it came to me from Hawkings, and I'm still able to understand it in a way that many people can't, including yourself.

Then that is true intelligence.

Either you are a Theist or a Non-Thiest (atheists).
Babies are not theists. Therefore, atheists.

•The Law of the Excluded Middle
An entity x has or does not have a property P

Atheism has nothin in common with theism likewise theism doesn't have any property of atheism.

Babies show no features of theism, therefore atheism.
