**AGITATION FOR BREAK-UP: A CALL FOR NATIONAL RECONCILIATION**

The persistent agitation for the break-up of Nigeria has been a lingering issue since the end of the Biafra war in 1970. For almost 54 years, successive leaders have failed to address this pressing problem, leading to continued unrest and crises in the country. This situation is akin to sitting on a keg of gunpowder, with the potential to explode at any moment.

It is imperative that we take immediate action to address this issue and put an end to the agitation for the break-up of Nigeria. This action is necessary not only to prevent another civil war but also to address the many crises and injustices facing our nation.

The president must initiate a process of National Reconciliation to pave the way for genuine restructuring through a National Referendum or conference.
