Well,here in china

They have may day holiday right now

May 1st-5th

5days holiday

But shipping companies didn't permit them(workers including chinese )to close

I asked my guy Allen the Chinese, he said there's holiday for 5days but you know our shipping company's boss has many waters in his head,he said no holiday with no compensation...... so you see,I've got first hand info, we need to stop thinking that it's only in Nigeria that these things happen, other countries have one or two things in common and if others in different countries can say the truth, you will realize that labor market or being employed get some bad sides which when you check other countries you see that they are almost similar
try to understand my point here. Yes there is an holiday and ur work doesn't permit u to go on holidays. We have many work like that in Nigeria such as hotel and some other works where they work during holidays. But in this case they aren't asked to come to school because they want to do their normal duties but because they want to go and do publication which isn't part of the job description.

I am an orphan. My parents died poor. Nothing like inherited wealth for me. I lost interest in state universities and state Polytechnics because they are more corrupt than private and federal schools. I suffered for 10 years before I got an opportunity to attend a good university. But during the 10 years, many people around me complained about what they were facing in state schools. Each time I reminded them that they knew the school system before they accepted the school, they claimed I was very privileged. A few of them that know my background could not make the same claim, but they simply said, "Not everybody thinks like you".

I graduated last year. I am still searching for a job. But I have rejected 3 jobs because of the structures of those organisations and for the fact that they don't pay well. Some people claim I have pride. Those are the type of People that will accept the jobs, complain about the poor salary and the bad management. Yet, they will attack me when I blame them for accepting the job. This is also the mentality many of you use in marriages. You choose an incompatible partner or marry when you are not ready. You do this because of societal pressure. Then, you complain in the marriage.

If you don't want to frustrate yourself, be patient in life. After my secondary school, I waited for 10 years before I could get admission to a university. But I entered and graduated from a good university that has at least upgraded my life in terms of knowledge. I graduated last year. Because of that university, I got my passport and have visited a few African countries. If I had attended those public schools and complained like you people, I would have graduated many years ago. But I doubt if I could have travelled out of Nigeria by now.

Those who came up with the proverb that a patient dog eats the fatest bone are right. I attended a very poor public primary school. I attended a very bad public secondary school, where teachers hardly entered classes. If you check my history on this forum, you may come across a comment where I stated that the three senior classes in the secondary school I attended had only one Maths teacher who entered my class only four times in 3 years. The teacher entered my class twice in my SS1, once in my SS2 and once in my SS3.

Wow!

Respect to you sir!
More grease to your elbow , and may your children be greater than you, Amin

You have not seen anything yet. Private schools do not want their staff to rest.
They will even fix trainings on public holidays.

@tctrills You obviously don't know anything about life. Jobs are scarce in this country and the little ones around are a do-or-die affair, make a mistake of complaining and a thousand of people will be waiting on the sidelines to replace you while you go hungry, many don't have other options than to manage. Calling others slaves and other unprintable names is the height of it for me. You can go ahead and call me whenever you like but I care less. But know this today, it's the same thing that kills a wise man that can kill a fool in this life so be careful about what you dish to others

@nasri100 don't ever make a mistake of giving anyone your details to proof a point, for your security reasons.

He wanted you to decline when he mentioned his community but you surprised him, all those other talks are just to save face. Believe me, he don't have anything to offer or don't want to help anyone. Calling others slaves should have told you the kind of person he is, saying he can't do anything here is also another indication that he was just boasting for nothing.

The fact that God give you the opportunity to be better than others does not mean you are wise or more hardworking, trust me if it was by working hard he may have problem of feeding and if it's by wiseness, he can't stand shoulder to shoulder with people that are suffering. You proof your point already so save yourself the stress and move on. You have my respect from today even though I don't know you anywhere.

If the slave part is such a big deal i take that back. Drake said a similar line in his diss song with Kendrick and its having a s h i t storm online.

I would never give my details to tctrills or anyone online for any reason. I was advised not to even bother with the philantrophy thing cause you never know what people could do in real life. Imagine i sent someone there and the person got attacked?

If tctrills is refusing to do a giveaway on Nairaland (Where everything started) then he probably got something else on his mind.

Safe.

I am glad you finally replied.
Oga please when are you doing the gave away of 500k. Again if there is no exchange of contact, how do our people meet.

You need to stop being a child here. It's impossible to have a giveaway competition without us or our people meeting.
There must be a form of coordination. Please explain how that happens without the exchange of contact.
If you have a better way in which our people meet without exchanging contacts then I am in. Saturday will be fine.
I will follow your lead and your method as long as my people can verify your 500k give away and your people verify mine.

One more thing, I do business and I give my number out everyday to strangers. It's called advertising.
I understand the fear in sharing your details but then I advise you get a special number just for this operation.
Getting a sim is the easiest thing in Nigeria. You can dispose of it after the give away.

Ok let's make it easy. You do your give away here on Nairaland, and post clear evidence of the give away and the amount you spent on the whole thing. Then I will understand your method and follow suit.

Because I am not understanding how to make you accountable on Nairaland. How to we verify your charity. So you go first, I verify and follow your lead.
I guess this works for everyone.

This would be a great opportunity for you to be charitable. Remember you were the one who challenged me to doing the give away. I am sure a rich man like you will have no issue giving 500k to the poor on Nairaland.

I actually believe that you are a very charitable guy and that 100s of poor people on Nairaland witnessed you you challenging me. It would be grossly unfair for you to raise their hopes. I beg you with everything you believe in to give the 500k.

Hello @tctrills

First of all my apologies for my reply to your posts some weeks back, i was just pained because not all of us who are poor are actually lazy. My apologies

I know you stated it clearly that you can't help anyone online but i plead with you to help me. I have a roadside kiosk but business is not moving now untill the new season will start, i borrowed from one company to be paying back in installment but i'm behind for some days now and they are on neck, i don't want them to disgrace me. I even put up my tv for sale but no one is paying something reasonable.

Pleeeeeeaasse can you help a sister with any amount to bring me out of this mess? I just have this feeling that you can help. Don't be offended if you feel bad sir. I will take down the post if you feel its not appropriate. Thanks to you

Pls reply

finegirl233:

Na so I see am o

Let me drop for any amount pleaaaaseee

Thanks in advance

Hello huptin,

I'm still expecting to hear from you. Pleeeeeeease reply even if there is change of plans. Thanks
Tctrills if you send money to this lazy career beggar you are a fool. Continue cooking up new stories day by day to get stipends to throw away like all the past ones you've been collecting on nairaland. I will soon get to know the person behind this account since your details are already indexed on nairaland.
