Someone Predicted A Year Ago Exactly How Tinubu's Tenure Would Go by Tofax: 10:25am On May 01
Just a year ago, someone @ilynem on X predicted exactly how Tinubu's tenure would go and reading this, there's no part of it that went wrong. We all know he would fail but a few evils decided to force him on us for their selfish gains.

Let me tell you people how Tinubu's tenure will go. It's so easy to predict.
1. In June, subsidy will be removed. This will trigger inflation never seen in Nigeria before. I see people refer to transportation costs (for humans), but it's a lot more than that.

2. Goods also travel. The cost of transporting goods will rise and sellers will transfer this to the prices of their goods. So expect everyday goods to rise
sharply.

3. Cost of production will also rise. Companies that run on generators will raise their prices to break even.

4. This means demand will drop drastically and once demand starts to drop, companies will begin to pack up and fail. But this is not the sad part. I
know! It gets worse.

5. If companies are failing that means government taxes are falling too (let's forget unemployment first).

6. For a man like Tinubu that measures his success through IGR (which is a pretty dumb way though) he cannot stand and watch IGR fall. What will he
do? Increase taxes because that's always his first instinct which will further drive a lot of businesses to fail.

7. Let's not forget he has spent so much in this election, he has to make his money back. Plus he's no Peter Obi that can manage resources. Those
presidential aircrafts will not fly themselves. We are in for the toughest time in our history.

I see people making tweets like "Nigeria must work." It's like standing in front of a moving train and declaring that the train will stop. Keep your
prayer for yourself. You will need it if this man stays in office in the next 4 years.

All these are not predictions, they're just common sense. Subsidy was never in the budget from January 2023 and it was clear the incoming president would be the one to beat most of the effects. Once subsidy removal was announced everything else was bound to follow.

If I remember correctly many people, especially pastors also predicted that Peter Obi would become the president

He is, unfortunately right.

I knew what was up when Buhari kept on repeatedly saying that subsidy won't be paid after June 2023. Once the PIA was signed, the countdown began.

Infact subsidy would have gone in 2022, if not that Bubu rushed a law that allowed funding till June 2023.

Then there was the debate where Tinubu, Atiku and Obi all said, on the record...subsidy will go if they win. You want to call Obi and Atiku APC cows?

Finally, in August 2022, our debt servicng was eating 90% of our income. Removing subsidy (partially) reduced that to 63% of our income.

I knows it is painful, but the signs were there.

Like Buhari military regime era, anyone who knows Tinubu’s antecedents would know how a government by him would go like. You don't need a sooth sayer to know the trajectory of well known failures.

Can you show any Buhari budget with subsidy?

Subsidy has always been paid outside subsidy.

Give kudos to whom kudos is due. That guy analyzed Tinubu very well. Not just about subsidy removal, he got everything about Tinubu right.

Tinubu and his ignorant supporters from Southwest especially measure a state or nation's success by the IGR (Internally Generated Revenue) which is so wrong. They do not regard vital HDIs, theirs is IGR, IGR which ends up in the filthy bank accounts of corrupt ruling class.

What is the need of generating 100 trillion from taxing already struggling companies and citizens to raise trillions that the President and his corrupt cabinet will then loot in the name of executing white elephant projects like their coastal highways when virtually more than 65% of Nigeria's main roads are in ruins?

Why not work on revamping the dilapidated roads and railways all over Nigeria first before embarking on some useless white elephant projects just to score cheap political point?

That guy deserves a national honor for forewarning Nigerians accurately ahead. His prediction is even more accurate than the prophecies our Pastorpreneurs release every New Year, abeg respect the guy

"History does not repeat itself, it's humans that don't learn from History". George Bernard Shaw.

It doesn't take anyone with half a brain cell to know that Tinubu will fail woefully. I mean, the signs were there. He lacks integrity which is the highest quality of a leader. He's only adept at 'Politics' & 'Politricks'. Governance has never been his strong suit.

However, what no one ever imagined was that Tinubu could ever be worse than Buhari. If anyone had predicted this, I would have left my job and started working for the person because obviously he's a visionary. cheesy cheesy

He removed subsidy one month before the due date. Besides if he could do supplimentary budget to buy yatch, he could do to continue the subsidy till December. This would have given him enough time to figure things out.

Is he not paying the subsidy today?

The problem was by August 2022, 90% of our earnings were going towards servicing debt.

Buhari was also borrowing extensively to pay for subsides

Something had to give.

If we wanted subsidy to continue, na loan we go take well well..IMF won't give us any loans for that.
