Will you rather invest in a commercial city like lagos or a back water state in some other part of Nigeria? If you really have money to invest, your business decision won't be guided by emotions, tons of businesses are making truckload of money in Lagos everyday, Lagos state Is the gift that keeps giving, the landmark group received over 3 million visitors last year, kids pay about 5k to access that facility, Adult fees are higher, 3 million multiplied by 5k is N15b and this is notwithstanding the other services in the facility like hotels, bike rentals, bar, restaurants, clothing stores, grocery stores, etc, which other state in Nigeria has this much population willing to patronise a business of that nature?

Them no go hear, but their investment go hear am! If you have properties or sellable investment in Lagos, kindly walk up to a bank, take a short term loan, equivalent or 80% of the investment worth, using your property as collateral. Kindly default and allow the bank take the property!

Divest from Lagos. Locate any town or village with access to sea outlet and buy properties. One day, infrastructures go reach there and the Lagos property market will go bust!

Blackmailers are not needed in Lagos. They are creating nuisances in Lagos.

The woman has a salon in one Africa country. She should advice her investors to move to the African country. Lagos would be more organized if their kind of investors leave Lagos. That is why they are been harassed in Ghana and South Africa until Nigeria intervened.

Before they created the nuisances in Lagos, the City was very organized. They should leave we don't want them. Responsible investors will come to Lagos. They are gradually turning Jo'burg to Lagos.

Lagos has three International boundaries - Land, Air and Sea representing the Triangular forces of the Heavens which are Sun, Moon and Star. The markets in Lagos serve many countries in Africa . The Wealth of Lagos is Divinely invoked by Saint Moses Orimolade and other Saints at the Ocean ( Beach). SBJ Oshoffa also invoked the wealth by the Sea. After the decimation of Lagos by Abacha, the HOLY Ghost Congress of 1998 December at LEKKI BEACH kickstarted the revival of the present development.

They came with nothing to Lagos and are made, they are now blackmailing the land and abuse her people. The land will revolt and fight them at the end.
We don't want them in Lagos

Which of the useless business are you saying. What is stopping you from taking your fake business to your region and let see first. On this same platform, they have listed the names/companies of the real investors in Lagos and we all see the leading tribe. If you think your buying and selling is what make you business owners, then you are on your own. You need Lagos to sell so Lagos don't need you. Take your load and go back to your region, no one will hold you or miss you. Enough of crying all the time. Pack your load and go.

43Ronin:

But your hausa lords and saviors said that 70% of businesses in lagos are owned by igbos, and that is just igbos he did not include hausa that have bought up the entire Agege or nigerdeltans. You yorubas have nothing because your leaders invested in 9-5 for you guys

An Igbo man can never leave Lagos. Greedy businessmen invest where they will make a lot of returns - this is something only Lagos offers because of massive population and lots of rich people.

This is the reason Igbos will keep investing in Lagos and keep turning around to cry of victimisation. Someone has to start the process of massively investing in the East but who will?
Igbo don't invest in Lagos because of returns na... Even if we sale in the village them go follow us come

Port policy is the key thing

OldBeer:
Maryanne Moghalu, the wife of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor and ex-presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu, has sparked a social media storm with her recent social media post cautioning against investing in Lagos.

In the wake of the contentious dispute between Landmark, a prominent real estate developer, and the Federal Government, Maryanne Moghalu took to Social media to share her advice. Her post, which has since garnered over 200,000 views, serves as a warning to potential investors regarding the current climate in Lagos.

It's worth noting that Kingsley Moghalu was the presidential candidate for the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the country's general election in February 2019.

The controversy surrounding Landmark and the Federal Government has raised concerns about the stability of investment opportunities in Lagos. Maryanne Moghalu's post adds to the ongoing dialogue about the implications of such disputes on the business environment in Nigeria's commercial capital.

Lagos should not be too proud because her fall is nigh. I am a lagosian by birth and residence. The demolish properties is making me rethink.

After all the noise he was making about igbos dominating and selling fake products, he was asked what he does for a living and his contribution to the development of Lagos he was claiming, he couldn't answer, all the attempt made for him to review what he does for a living, he couldn't answer,he became ashamed and left.

Shouting fake products as if he knows where and how to import anything. Somebody that will probably go to the nearest igbo man's shop to buy something is shouting leave our Lagos

That coastal highway will not get to SS. Lets watch and see!
AuschwitzPrefec:

The section demolished was illegally sited on federal land and the demolition excercise carried out by federal govt through the ministry of works headed by an Ibo man.

One of them on this thread is even asking that they de-invest from Lagos and invest in coastal towns which I infer is in the same SS that this road network project is meant to open up.

Now tell me how SS people will want to sell prime real estate to them after they opposed the project that will make the adjourning lands along the route spike in value?

This coastal highway project normally should attract commendation and support from their likes as it will surely see to other coastal towns in the SS opening up for business, investments and tourism.

But for their myopic hatred inspired by pure bigotry for anything good outside their region , they have now shot themselves on the foot and kneecaps.

Even people from Osun and kwara State are claiming Lagos
I blame real lagosians
They have been caged in their state.

That's because the indigenous people of Osun and Kwara States are Yorubas, and the last time I checked, Lagos was Yoruba land. Yorubas are free to roam around and claim any land that belongs to their ancestors. much like how Caucasian Europeans do in Europe.

Lmaooo firstly there is landmark event center in owerri and is fully booked

He doesn't have to build it on one place he can spread his investment across the lakes in Igbo land

Azumini, oguta, oguta, anam, Nike and afikpo

Trust me December traffic at 5000 would be more than 5 million

Crystal resort oguta is there you can research they are doing pretty well and most days fully booked

Owerri has hotels everywhere yet all are fully booked at 20k and above na 3k we no fit pay?

Do you know how much is an average plate of food in the east?
